to all whiz guys who have a know-how regarding short cut keys for quick operation of this mobile, i need your help. is there any short cut key to change language settings while i am in the SMS mode? i frequently jump from arabic and or english while doing sms, so i find it quiet annoying to perform the regular changing of settings for language in the sms mode.
i hope someone out there can help me in this matter. i am using E66.

hey guys all you lot saying the battery life is bad, its really good, what you need to do is turn the breathing light off from your profiles menu. mine lasts 2 and a half days of normal use, whereas before it was a day and a half...hope you this works for you guys as it did for me...

Hate this phone because of battery! Battery sucks! I will sell this phone as soon as I will get buyer for it. It doesnt matter for how much...just to get rid of it...but only reason is battery!

A fully charge battery cannot last for 5 hours with GPS and Nokia map on.

I bought this phone a week ago, and I love it but I have a very big problem whit it that that I dont know how to handle it,please someone help me
some of the names in my contacts, when they send sms or call me,phone doesnt show their name and only shows the number
I added again the number that has shown, but the next it called, phone showed the nmber again and not the name... I hope someone could help me

I think Nokia should replace the batteries for E66 like they are doing with a lot of other models. It was a very expensive phone with a very bad battery.

I bought mine 2 months ago,The only thing why I am desapointed is the fact that the battery cannot handle for more than 3 days (sometimes less), and to short conversation time

i bought this phone a month ago in china(this unit is original not fake).i bought the unit in china because i needed the chinese character in texting which the unit available here in the philippines doesn,t have.they can,t istall chinese software.but the problem on this phone,when i saved the contact number i had to save the number twice,ex.09171111111-MARK1 then i have to save again as +639171111111-MARK2,because when someones calling ur phone no name will come out if u saved +639171111111 to a contact.,u need to save 09171111111 so that the name will come out.but on texting,the contacts name wouldn,t appear not unless u saved the number with +639171111111.so what i did every contact i put 2names on 1 contact numbers,1 with +63 the other 09.PLEASE HELP!

own this phone for 1 month and a half... drop it once only.. and THATS IT!! the LCD broken... so FRAGILE!! pissed me off... now if i want to repair it cost me $200 SGD which is equal to buy new phone... really disappointed with the durability...

- precisely...this thing I have witnessed in 2 E90 that I used, my brother's E90 and my sisters E90...my bro and my cousin had E61i as well, and it had the same issue...any idea how to avoid this? and is this issue witnessed in e63, e66 and e71?

muntazir212, 04 Feb 2009hi...I have witnessed that e series mobiles have this issue... moreThe square in the centre of the scroll key (selection key) on the E66 is made of synthetic material and I think it is unlikely to discolour. On the E90, this key is made of the same material and after I have used mine for more than a year, there was no discolouring. However, the scroll key (the metal square around the selection key) may wear off to then show a copper colour. But the E90 I have used did not show such wear after a year of regular business use.

Nokia Maps on E66 - after my post of earlier today, Nokia's local office confirmed that some of the problems associated with the Maps application are caused by the sim card. Standard 64k sim cards have to be upgraded to 3G, TV or similar high speed sim cards. This will also apply to the E71. The problem will persist even if you have dowloaded the map with Map Loader because the high speed sim card is necessary to activate the purchased license. One would think the carrier/service provider will point that out...
