It's you don't know to... moreno matter what yo think of symbian or any OS, you have to admit that E7 is a N97 in new wrapping, and still N97 had a card slot and twice the amount internal storage. This is not going the right direction, E7 is much weaker than N97 relative to its time of launch.

You buy a Android phone only because you like the dual-core processor and the high ROM and RAM it uses, that's total bullsh*t man.
Symbian dominated the smartphone market (even till now) because it does not require dual-core processors, higher RAM and ROM and better batteries, along with cheap install costs and ease of usage.

it would be perfect business solution if it only had an autofocus,and maybe a bit higher screen resolution....business phone witch can not take pictures of documents,major drawback.......sorry for my bad english

Does Nokia kidding with the world?
They postpone their phone release to 2011 Q1 with these low standard specifications and very high price while Samsung, LG , Motorola making high specifications with same price!
What with the FPS and Processor speed and the resolution!
And i do not care if Symbian requires low speed processors, So they should sell it with the half price since they put slow processors.
Those cheaters NOKIA i hope they breakdown soon

Mostly all brands are going in the android direction(sony e,motorola,Lg,samsung,htc etc..)the blackberry has its own network and OS so does the apple iphone
But nokia is soo rotten old with the same interface and same features that are available in other brands so nokia is better expected to patch it up and present somethng worthy the 500 or 600 or 800 dollars that we are paying for them !!!!!
for me i have tried the blackberry,the htc,the samsung,and the motorola phones and they are amazing each having its own glamor and shine on the other hand i have owned too many nokias and they are not so surprisingly the same!!!!
so for me i am not buying this phone or the N8 or any other if nokia is still planning on going in the crappy way that it is heading which is down the dumpster

Until 2 months ago i had N900, 32gb storage, 27gb of it for user files. It wasnt enough, i had to use additional 8gb card, and still i wanted a 32gb card.
16gb was the storage of n96, thats like a distant past already, it was right after Fred Flint retired iirc, and 16gb was enough at the time with the capabilities of n96. USB-OTG is a mess, we also have that on N900 but its not being used in real life, its just a fun gimmik you will test once or twice an then forget about it. Bringing cabels is not practical still, then i rather have an extra memcard in the wallet. cant fit cables+flashdrives in the wallet.

No memory slot takes away all the joy.
16 gb mass memory + no memory slot, in the year 2011 is not enough. Nokia have missed a trick here.

kings93, 20 Jan 2011E7 and C7 camera is same?? becoz i facing the problem is c... moreE7 and C7 are using fixed focus camera, any macro shots closer than 30cm from your camera lens will turn blur. Only Autofocus camera on Nseries in close up mode can take such document shots.

LORDI , 21 Jan 2011can any one tell me can you go frough the menu with te keyb... moreTouch screen only bro. Capacitive touch screens are relatively still responsive with sweaty or oily fingers. Maybe you can wait for phones that comes with oleophobic screens. It reduces fingerprints and some oil off from the screen.

i like nokia with this features but the battery that made me to cancel to buy this phone cause i interest to this phone cause the ovi maps. but the nokia only give 1200 mah that means not enough to use that features to stay long enough

it will be a good upgrade for my n86. But i will miss the superb 8 mp camera of n86. I wish nokia e7 had the camera module of n86

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2011What the hell are you talking about? A Flash has a purpose ... moreOf course I compared pictures made with xenon and led. And I use the torch functionality of the led on my e72 very often which has a dedicated button for that btw.
Fortunately most of the new nokia smartphones use strong leds.
The problem is that nokia thinks that just few users need autofocus and so they offer them just n8. All the other new smartphones c5-03, c6-01, c7, e7 ... have fixed focus. So hopefully nokia comes soon with a new smartphone with specs I describe in my first post.
