ShameOnNokia, 07 Oct 2010wow, your obsession to stand up for Nokia knows no bounds! ... moreWhy don't you show me that sort of unnecessary multi-tasking on any other mobile OS. Oh, and be sure to try doing it on iOS, when you fail email me!

Tootsie, 07 Oct 2010Be there as many applications as may, but Symbian is still ... moreYet again another "symbian runs fine and efficient on the hardware its given". You nokia kids seem to think that android requires 1 petaBytes worth of ram, that is far from the truth. So please just stop with the "its enough" bull. Truth is any mobile OS out today is more than efficient enough to run on Nokia hardware ie: 256MB ram 680MHz ARM 11 RISC processors. However most companies know how to be competitive. Look at HTC, their profits more than doubled when you compare 09 to 2010. Where as look at Nokia's profit margin it shrinks. So yes Nokia is in a financial grave, why do you think they're restructuring their board members drastically? You think companies like to play musical CEO chairs for no apparent reason? For someone who's trying to refute my statements your claims have no support. Look at Nokia's stock prices 5 years ago vs today. Reading their fiscal financial reports and tell me they're not in a financial grave? You don't think losing over 80% of your profits is not a financial grave? Go ahead and keep claiming "market share this, market share that". Market share means almost nothing if it doesn't have profit margins to back it up genius, but hey if you want to keep wearing those rose colored glasses when you look at Nokia go ahead. I'll just laugh when I see global sales figures of N8 and MeeGo. I'll post back when sales figures comes out.

I think that regardless of whether the screen resolution is actually good enough, people see a higher resolution spec on many other high end phones and immediately dismiss any phone with a lower resolution. I feel it myself when I see other phones with a higher resolution than the E7. I'm going to wait until I actually see 360x640 on a 4" screen before I dismiss the E7 because of the screen resolution. I have fiddled around briefly with an iPhone 4 and Galaxy S. I am impressed with the screens of both phones, but when I go back to my N97, I do not feel that my N97 screen's lower resolution is inadequate.
The impression I get from the specs is that the E7 will be at a lower price point than the really high end phones. So far, there is no indication of what the price of this device will be. I am interested in the E7. For me at least, the price (and when it will be released) will likely influence my decision on whether or not to purchase it.

ShameOnNokia, 07 Oct 2010wow, your obsession to stand up for Nokia knows no bounds! ... moreBe there as many applications as may, but Symbian is still a lot more resource-effective and better at multitasking than the other operating systems.
Nokia and a financial grave in the same sentence? You must not know all that much, it seems. :) You've done a good job at reading all the anti-Symbian and Nokia comments and are repeating them adorably. If only you'd try stuff out yourself. You'd be surprised! If you can't be assed to do that, have fun in your small little world! :)

Running 50 Apps? I think the phone would have to be pretty primitive and constrained to run ONLY 50 Apps simultaneously. ;)

this phone good design but no AUTOFOCUS. only fixed focus. according to gsmarena review of n8 No changes for symbian^3 only the name change. the interface is almost the same old symbian s60. like x6,5800,n97. read the review of N8 also the camera of n8 is look like 3.2MP. So nokia buyer Be carefull before you buy. much better to wait MEEGO,Windows7 For Nokia. N8 is the big Joker camera, resolution. nokia cheat peoples some more impressive like 12MP of N8 is not true and No amoled display it just a normal LCD... Think Wisely Before you Buy Nokia c6-01,c7.nokia n8...

Nowadays Nokia is at least trying, I am still using my E71 but it is coming to 3 years and I think E7 is worth waiting for, no other brand will do for me as Nokia did not disappoint me so far.

Incredible!
The more I am discovering about this phone (Nokia E7) the more I think that Nokia R&D forgot about the users of Communicators and their needs.
Come on, Nokia! Unless this is fixed - many business users won't be happy with E7.

I definitely don't like the lower resolution of the screen and the lack of autofocus of the camera.
Difficult to understand why Nokia didn't opt for higher price and better specifications.
Indeed, I am not very likely to upgrade my E90, in spite of looking forward to a successor.

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2010Wow, you're obsession with Nokia bashing is just wow. ... morewow, your obsession to stand up for Nokia knows no bounds! Show me a video of Symbian running 50 applications simultaneously? LOL thats right you can't theres no videos of such thing. I thought you guys were saying MeeGo is nokia's saving grace? Why would the person in charge of MeeGo which is Nokia's messiah leave nokia then? Fiorina left because she had performance problems which were based soley on her anti-steve jobs ideology. She was never in charge of any new technological revolution within the company. Jaaski and Vanjoki were both in charge of the MeeGo and N series division. So can you Nokia kids tell me why is it that the two people in charge for MeeGo and N8 the two things that will supposedly bring Nokia back from the financial grave and triumphantly destroy all their competition resign? Like I said, Jaaski left before his name got tarnished, the moment MeeGo comes out and its a flop he'll be the one who's blamed. Hence his resignation and search for a new job while he can still get a new job. You nokia kids keep spouting out nonsense such as QT this meego, Symbian^3, Symbian^4 that. How QT will make a revolution for Nokia since all their new products will support it. Doesn't matter if it does, when theres no developers using it then its still a useless tool.

ShameOnNokia, 05 Oct 2010virtual memory is a joke. LOL most efficient hardware have ... moreWow, you're obsession with Nokia bashing is just wow.
Nokia has already found a replacement for Ari Jaaksi; Peter Skillmanex-Palm VP of design has been hired as head of MeeGo User Experience and Services even before Jaaki announced his resignation-which is BTW still unofficial.
Carly Fiorina, former hp CEO, left hp and looks what happened to hp? Hewlett Parkard's global market share jumped from number 2 to number 1.
About the RAM, even w/ the less RAM, many Symbian phones can run 50 apps without problems; can you say the same for the iPhone 4 and Galaxy S?
All phones have their strengths and weaknesses. To completely diss a phone without sufficient and truthful info to back your claim up only make you look...
BTW, if you resort to name calling, you loss all your credibility.
