Anonymous, 08 Oct 2010The rumor say E 9-00 4'3'' 1280x720p 12 MP camera Recor... moreSo the that's where the smp A9 multicore project for. Yeah, i'm excited about that too. Suppose that it can really perform without sacrificing battery life, then it will be the best phone ever. But we have yet to see it. And who knows by that time the competition will have the same capabilities as rumored s^4.

ha, 08 Oct 2010So what you will do with 50 applications at a time....dont ... moreLOL yet another fanboy who fails to even read previous comments. I never made the comment that android/ios can perform 50 applications at once. One of you nokia kids did. I then asked for video proof of this 50 simultaneous running apps.

symbianblack, 08 Oct 2010why would anyone need to run 50 applications at once? I don't know? you should be telling me that. Thats one of the comments left by someone using it as a defense for Symbian devices. LOL even some nokia fanboys don't know squat about the devices they so blindly love it seems.

jon.hubert.bristol@g, 08 Oct 2010Why don't you show me that sort of unnecessary multi-taskin... moreLOL you sure are behind on the times huh? iOS has limited multitasking, while Android has had multitasking since launch day with Tmobile G1. Android and iOS fanboys certainly don't go exaggerating "50 simultaneously running apps". That's quite laughable. Funny how you guys keep using "multitasking" as your defense, when basically every other mobile OS has multitasking (with iOS being limited to certain features and functions). Whats there to "multitask" on symbian? Tell me what you would "multitask" on your Symbian^3 devices? Browser? Music? navigation? Guess what, iOS and android can do those too? Gonna tell me you're gonna "multitask" office documents by minimizing them while you check your email? Its not multitasking when word document applications aren't doing anything in the background geniuses.

Poor E7. It's got a "Long Term Memory Defficiency" Wait a minute. Memory is supposed to be an added value & purposeful feature which is seens as one of the most highly top ranked features that a Mobile can not & should not be without. Business consumers will surely buy the N8 with BT fold away keyboard or something. How stylish is that "I have a wireless keyboard & I can type at the far side of the conference room while my N8 is attached through HDMI to our flatscreen tv wirelessly..." hehe

Nokia got the marketing strategy wrong for E7. smaller screen but less meory available to Business files, office files, videos, slides, pictures, etc.. etc.. as well as catering for pleasure/. Business users do have a second half of their life known as casual pleasure. It applies to all people!

Tootsie, 07 Oct 2010Be there as many applications as may, but Symbian is still ... moreYet again another "symbian runs fine and efficient on the hardware its given". You nokia kids seem to think that android requires 1 petaBytes worth of ram, that is far from the truth. So please just stop with the "its enough" bull. Truth is any mobile OS out today is more than efficient enough to run on Nokia hardware ie: 256MB ram 680MHz ARM 11 RISC processors. However most companies know how to be competitive. Look at HTC, their profits more than doubled when you compare 09 to 2010. Where as look at Nokia's profit margin it shrinks. So yes Nokia is in a financial grave, why do you think they're restructuring their board members drastically? You think companies like to play musical CEO chairs for no apparent reason? For someone who's trying to refute my statements your claims have no support. Look at Nokia's stock prices 5 years ago vs today. Reading their fiscal financial reports and tell me they're not in a financial grave? You don't think losing over 80% of your profits is not a financial grave? Go ahead and keep claiming "market share this, market share that". Market share means almost nothing if it doesn't have profit margins to back it up genius, but hey if you want to keep wearing those rose colored glasses when you look at Nokia go ahead. I'll just laugh when I see global sales figures of N8 and MeeGo. I'll post back when sales figures comes out.

I think that regardless of whether the screen resolution is actually good enough, people see a higher resolution spec on many other high end phones and immediately dismiss any phone with a lower resolution. I feel it myself when I see other phones with a higher resolution than the E7. I'm going to wait until I actually see 360x640 on a 4" screen before I dismiss the E7 because of the screen resolution. I have fiddled around briefly with an iPhone 4 and Galaxy S. I am impressed with the screens of both phones, but when I go back to my N97, I do not feel that my N97 screen's lower resolution is inadequate.

The impression I get from the specs is that the E7 will be at a lower price point than the really high end phones. So far, there is no indication of what the price of this device will be. I am interested in the E7. For me at least, the price (and when it will be released) will likely influence my decision on whether or not to purchase it.

Nokia and a financial grave in the same sentence? You must not know all that much, it seems. :) You've done a good job at reading all the anti-Symbian and Nokia comments and are repeating them adorably. If only you'd try stuff out yourself. You'd be surprised! If you can't be assed to do that, have fun in your small little world! :)

Running 50 Apps? I think the phone would have to be pretty primitive and constrained to run ONLY 50 Apps simultaneously. ;)
