If Symbian is so "great" why is there no Symbian-phone that has a larger screen resolution than 360x640?
360x640 on a 4 inch screen, or even 3.5 inch screen, is not acceptable today on a top multimedia smartphone.

Seems like to me you don't even own a Galaxy S, if you did you would know that it does indeed have 512mb of ram. However 126mb of ram is dedicated to the gpu/os. I don't know about you but maybe its some crap you downloaded? Because all android phones are practically the same, besides the GUI running on it that differs for manufacturer, such as HTC and their SENSE UI, Motorola and their motoblur, Samsung and their version of the android desktop, theres no difference in hard ware. Like i said, maybe if you experience "crashing" then head over to an android forum and see if they can figure out your problem? Theres more than 1 million galaxy S sold world wide, and besides the common problem like gps(this is fixed easily using a guide) theres no "crashing" problem i've heard of.

really doubt on the capability of E7 in running many application , especially when it CPU is only at 680 Mhz,
Indeed it does have a great design as compared to the previous design of nokia phone. Due to the CPU, not sure if it can work fast since it is only 680mhz and not 1Ghz. If only it comes with office editor then it be good

Android can also run on nokia-slow processors, but Android is a truly stable os. Nokia is far behind mostly because of their stupid choice to use Symbian.

The iphone uses a newer generation ARM cpu, the Cortex A8, this uses ARM 11 which is seriously outdated. The price would probably be around 450 euro + so convert that to your country's currency.

LOL i never said symbian wasn't stable, and it is a bad os when compared to other OS. Tell me one thing symbian can do currently that no other OS can do? VOIP? I don't give a rats ass about VOIP. I text more than I talk, so i don't care about VOIP, and here in the US we have unlimited talk plans, so really VOIP doesn't matter unless you're so cheapo who either don't have text/data or don't want to shell out for unlimited. Symbian didn't even have threaded text messages until like 1 year ago, well behind apple iOS and android. Symbian didn't have push email until nokia email started. Symbian didn't start giving free GPS until android started free voice navigated GPS. Symbian didn't have flash 10.1 until recently with Symbian^3. Symbian didn't have a standard market place until nokia OVI marketplace which is another big failure, just like their N900. Lots of fanboys kept touting the N900 as the iphone killer, guess what, the N900 came and went and it didnt do any iphone killing, not in terms of marketshare, not in terms of number of units sold. In fact the N900 was such a big failure nokia didn't even want to release sales number because their share holders would withdraw all financial support.

To the guy that said I was a fanboy, sure I can be a fanboy, but atleast my fanboyism has some logic. I flock to any company that can produce a great phone. Show me a nokia phone that can compete and i'll gladly buy it, i won't buy any product just because of a logo. If i was gonna do that i'd get an iphone. I have a galaxy S right now, you can bet that my next phone will not be a samsung, so again, how am i a fanboy without knowing it? I don't buy nokia because its nokia, i dont' buy samsung because its a samsung. I bought the galaxy S because its power surpassed any phone that is currently on the market, has a better screen, and is light.

No matter what you say folks, but this sleek smartphone has a futuristic design, a very beautiful one, and nokia will sell a lot of it!! and that's a truth. hehe
although currently I have a Samsung wave, I admit E7 it's a very nice phone

hi guys nokia is ready to going in hell it is continiously producinig craps.now everyone says nokia was good but now nokia is very bad.pls nokia fanboys once u should check good phone of any brand u will forget nokia.i was also nokia fanboy but after using many shity phone of nokia I have change my mind towords other brands i am really happy. i am now not a fanboy of any company. i owned samsung wave and motorola milestone xt720. both r very good and good value for money in coprision to nokia n97. i really dissapointed from nokia n97. i baught nokia n 97 in rs30000 and after using 6 month i sold it in rs10000 .it is the value of nokia phone.
