The iphone4 is a great device but its too expensive and has some other problems too. It can shatter into pieces just by dropping it. It does not have a qwerty keyboard and the screensize is also only 3.5" especially with that huge bezel surrounding it.
Similar phones with the same dimensions offer 3.7" screens.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2010Well Nokia has pulled out the stops on this one and it seem... moreIf only that were true right? I don't know where you got that iphone is shits, maybe iphone first gen, however world wide apple have sold more than 50MILLION iphones. That's more than the amount of N900 and N97 and N97 combined. This is going by flagship vs flagship. Sure you can whine and say "nokia has 41% of smartphone market share", but they have more than one "smart phone". Notice the quotations because things Nokia considers as a smart phone many others don't. You may not like Apple as a company but you can't possibly deny that the Iphone was a success and changed how mobile phone manufacturers do business. Every company out there is trying to imitate Apple using an all capacitive touch screen based mobile phone with a centralized application market. Nokia is copying them with Ovi, Google is copying them with android market, Microsoft, Samsung also copying marketplace. The Iphone 4 may have its drawbacks with some problems such as antenna reception, however once you get pass that, theres no denying that the iphone 4 is a great device. The OS is very user friendly, the screen resolution is the most powerful of any phone, pixel density is also the highest, battery life is VERY GOOD, and the camera is actually really good too.

OOOOh imagine the hd video stutter as it tries to write to the slow mass memory.Every single mass memory device ffrom nokia is built to last and slow so whats going to be so diffeent from this.It does not matter if this fone is 2.0GHz and dual GPU its still will only write at speed storage/memory will allow and by nokias last efforts its not good.

Hope the Symbian^3 will have very smooth touch like the Android in Galaxy, otherwise no use for this phone...
Nokia please concentrate on making the transferring between the desk-tops as smooth as the iphone & Galaxy S i9000.

hayato, 28 Sep 2010You are commenting on the screen, not symbian. Can Symbian handle larger reslution than 360x640, if it can do so why do not Nokia do so on any of their phones, and if Symbian can not handle larger resolutions then it truly sucks!

hayato, 28 Sep 2010I know what galaxy s can do - 90mt/s, i read it on the sam... moresure you can view it as me promoting the Galaxy S, because its a great product. I have no issues with battery life and mine is indeed a G9 battery. The hummingbird is a SoC. So it is a system that incorporates gpu and cpu by the way. I don't know why you would think that the cpu puts out 90m tps, thats even more impressive. That's like saying an intel IGP(integrated grapics processor) can outperform a dedicated GPU(nvidia, ATI(AMD)). If the Galaxy S isn't sold in the phillipines why would the N8/E7? Forgive me as I don't know which markets nokia directly sells to. I would imagine that nokia and samsung being number 1 and 2 in mobile units sold world wide would basically sell in the same market?

ShameOnNokia, 28 Sep 2010thats a real shame, considering the iphone 3GS clocked at 60... moreI know what galaxy s can do - 90mt/s, i read it on the same post.
However it's the cpu who does that in galaxy s' case, not the gpu.
I appreciate that you do such intense promotion for galaxy s(no offense, but that's how i look at your posts), but i read many user reviews about it's battery life. Those reviews scared me. If you don't experience any battery drains, maybe your using a battery marked g9. On those post, also, there's an issue about g7 and g9 batteries, g9 assumed to last longer.
And plust the fact that galaxy s will never be released here on the philippines is an enough reason not to have one. I don't prefer shipping.
I'm considering n8 btw. At least, the aluminum casing provides me a secure feeling that it can last many years of usage, than any fragile looking samsung(that's basically accdg. to my preferences).
