dicks, 12 Nov 2011i'm thinking of buying this handset,,i don't know which 1 t... morego for e7.... im using it from past week n i can say its an awesome device.... everything is gud about it than n8 except its camera.... camera of n8 is better than e7 but other than that e7 is superior....

RAM is really a prblm.nokia's one of the bst phn wrkin on 680MHz prcssr,thtzz really bad nd thtzz nt enf.
im usin n8 bt itzz prfmnc is nt soo gud.im really sad nw.both e7 nd n8 hv th same cnfrg. on prcssr nd ram. if itzz nt wrkin on n8 very well,thn i wndr hw cn u sy that e7 is bttr.i found that e7 hv mor process on itz grphs,
nd cnsume mor ram.

sara ali, 05 Nov 2011hello g nokia e7 is the best cell of all i used it and stil... moreyesterday i went to market and compared N8, X7 and E7. i surfed all three. finally i bought E7. why? because, i found it faster than the other two, i found X7 to be sluggish and sometimes hangs, also N8. but E7 was smooth and user interface was very friendly. those who wants to buy a cell with both touch and non touch experience, u can go for E7. i guarantee none of u will regret.

Moin, 10 Nov 2011Hello Raj, How is the performance of this mobile.Performance is quite gud.... people tend to say its only 680mhz processor n ram is less.... its all crap.... symbian is running quite well on the given specs.... i found no problems even when 3-4 applications run at the same time....i use internet on 2g n the speed is decent enuf, not a problem.... the battery lasts for almost 1.5 days wid medium to heavy use.... if u r planning to buy this mobile just get the piece which is pre loaded wid anna..... camera is not as gud as say n8 but its a business phone so its decent.... anything else feel free to ask....

I've got a few questions, does its secondary camera take photos too?
And can you adjust the color balance, exposure, brightness with the secondary and the main camera?

Plz help .....If you want a hardware keyboard, I'd go the E7.
If you don't want one, or would prefer a better camera, the N8 would be the way to go.

andry, 10 Nov 2011which one faster ? E7 or N8 ?Spec-wise, E7 is supposed to be faster than N8, but as I've used both (E7 from my friend's) the phones, both seemed similar in speed. Maybe there is some variation, but it is very little in my opinion & will not effect day-to-day use.

To do that, go to Messaging > Options > Settings > Text message > Message centres & see if the number is correct. Contact your service provider for more info on the sms centre number. save it there with the help of "New message centre" & save it & exit. This will solve your problem. If not, well, sorry to say that your phone needs to visit it's manufacturer (Nokia care).

In my opinion, best phone does not exist. It is you who will choose which is more needed to you. I like to take pictures, so N8 was the one for me. HW QWERTY was an option for me. But one of my friend wanted HW QWERTY more than camera, he got E7. On the process he also gave up the battery. I, on the other hand gave up the better RAM. So you compare the phones & let your heart speak for you - what do you want from the phone. I can tell this much, both phones are good. E7 drains more power because of it's larger & CBD screen. If you can take that, E7 is a good HW QWERTY for you. Also, you can check E6 (far better battery life, better sound, smaller, better camera: though both are 8MP, but smaller screen, no CBD screen, no HDMI etc). First compare your choices in GSMArena, then reduce your choice to a few phones & go out & check them yourself to find the one fits you the most. Hope this'll help you.
