I have the Nokia 6820, with is the model before this one, has the foldout keyboard just the same. It has never broken or given me any problems at all. I have even dropped it down the toilet once and it still goes fine.

I thinl every1 shud go out & buy this but it wil prob be far too expensive for anyone to buy probs $800 .
Your better just buyin a sony or Motorola
They are far better handsets anway

I want to ask,is the opening keyboard built in good construction ? I mean who has this phone long time,the keyboard is at place ? Not broken ? Thank u.

Yes, you can change the input language. I think any Nokia Servive can do that for you.

JF (three posts below)-- I believe you are incorrect. The update there is for the E70 only--- not the E70-2, at least as of today.

Good phone, very nice reviews, and real good performance, but lacking in FM radio, and video call feature.....am i right. Pls correct me, can we use FM radio??....video call is not possible due to only one camera in this phone.

radu: I assume you are using the included data cable right? I haven't done a backup via pc suite yet on this phone. But I have done a backup to the memory card from the phone, and that seems to work fine.
gimly: I haven't tried out the adobe reader on the phone, but are you able to zoom out on the document and still read it? I would image you can't turn on a text wrapping function because once the pdf is created, it's format is set...you can't edit it directly, yoiu woudl have to go back to the original document (like the Word doc) and edit that.
In general, I too am waiting for a E70-2 firmware update. I don't understand why they haven't released one. I've encountered the out of memory issue with the web browser, and the switch to landscape lag is bothersome.

I have the US version E70-2--- I don't believe that I can currently update that firmware yet. Hopefully Nokia will get its act together on this issue too. But some European posters have suggested that the new firmware doesn't help the RAM issue by much. Anybody care to comment on whether the new firmware has helped the RAM management?

Out of memory problem should be fixed with the newest firmware,update your phone.
For better wifi disable the power safe mode in the wifi settings.My wifi works now a lot better.

I love this phone with one HUGE exception-- "Out-of-memory" issues come up several times a day. Nokia built a great phone but then stupidly skimped on the RAM-- and it crashes or closes programs by itself when RAM gets low. Like others, I also had trouble finding a good push email for the phone, but finally settled on the Consilient push email. I think it works well.

I have an e70 for a month and i am very pleased. I can give you some answers:
@chuchi: yes, you can use mp3 as a ringtone. The sound quality is decent.
@edwin: yes, you can use themes and there are some available for download
@johny: yes, there is a call filter function
i have some questions too. First, i wanna know is it possible to change the input language. I saw 2 simillar questions with no answer.
Second, my wifi connection drops alot, someone has the same problem?
Can i switch on wrapping on adobe reader? I'm sick of scrolling sideways.

Hi guys ,just bought the E70.
It is truly a business gadget.However ,when I try to backup with pc suite, at 1% it gives me an error ,like please reconect phone.Is there some how to back up??? thanks
