does the e70 allow to make phone calls and keep connected to GPRS/EDGE?
my treo 650 now always disconnects from the internet when receiving a call ... quite tiresome ...

i have a question....please help.... does this phone have the ability to store full contact such as addresses and email addresses the way that a blackberry does? or is it just phone numbers? It is possible to syc it with a mac computer right? Like will ical and if it does store addresses can it be synced with the addess book on a mac? Lots of questions sorry....but i just had to get rid of my blackberry and switched to this and I just want to make sure I made the right order! Thank you

Can someone please tell me about the loudness of the speaker on E70? I'm hung up between this phone and the 3250, and the 3250 has a very loud speaker. Can E70 reach those volume levels? (of course, I'm talking about the loudspeaker.)
I'll probably go for the E70, my only concerns are it's capabalities as a music phone and whether I can find the black version (since there's no way I will ever touch the ugly silver one).

I don't know if anybody brought this up before, but I see on the Nokia USA website, that Nokia is coming out with an E70 with 850/1800/1900 band. I can't wait.

Hi All.
I recently bought the e70 and am loving it!!! Yet there is one slight problem, I find that the 'font' is too small to read in messages etc.
Is there anyone out there that can help me with this, if you know how to change it to a larger font please please let me know.

I have brought this phone recently. Here are my reviews on the same -
- Camera is average in quality with decent photos.
- Video quality is excellent. One of the best in a mobile phone and has a recording upto 1 hr.
- Applications take some time to load
- Excellent keyboard with very easy typing
- Good sound quality.
I have not used e-mail, internet and other connectivity features.

As to the camera quality, I must say that a reliable camera is still a desirable feature for me. The whole idea is to have all-in-one device, isn't it? After viewing the photos posted here in the review section, my impression is that outdoors photos are decent, but indoors and close-ups are horrid.

I think you can sync the E70 with new iSync v2.3 that comes with OS 10.47.
The E70 is a series 60 phone so looks possible. However, the official Apple list does not include the E70 yet.

I now have a 9300i. Is it possible to transfer the Contact and Calendar info from this phone to the E70 ?? It would be nice if this is possible ....

Hi All,
I just bought a new E70 one day ago. So far everything sound fine except for the setting of pop3/smtp email client. I am alreay using nokia 6230 configured with two email account both using pop3/smtp with no problems at all. Now i am really frustrated getting this email client on the E70 working. The configuration looks perfect for me but still i always get "time out" message when i try to connect to any of the mailboxes configured.
the software version is:

Did anyone faced the same problem??

does anyone think that the n80 is better than this, and for the people who have the phone, what's the camera really like, is it as bad as the review makes out. Also, can you survive without flash

Hi All,
I would like to change my opinion first - E70 is not just a 'Good' phone, its 'Awesome'. This is my first business and smart phone and exploring something new every hour. I am typing this message on my E70.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. I formated my memory card and copied the backed up data (damn lucky I backed it up).
By the way guys, if some one has E70 and wants to back up memory card including system files - it can be done without a card reader. (for those who don't know).
I am still getting used to E70 qwerty keypad. So if you want more details do tell me and will answer later.

Dear, dont worry about this thing.
I dont know if there is any default password for Mini SD Memory card, but you can try by typing either 123, 1234 or 12345 as these are common default passwords.
Anyway even if you have already deleted the all softwares from your card, no problem as all of the softwares are available from Nokia's website. Please check there.
Anyway you can try Formatting card and then write all softwares/data back to it from your PC then you can surely able to work on it. If possible please format card from Phone but if phone donot work with this card try formatting from PC.
Please do write to me on this board so that others can understand & avoid this situation.

1) As for Themes I got one new theme from a persons website, which is working very well.
The new theme name is 'Aqua' and its free which is developed by one of Chinese person for all. Its slightly more better than Nokia's Original theme.
As for other Themes I got from a website where it mentioned as its for Nokia E-61 etc.. I tried to load them in my Phone and its working in E-70 too, but since its not meant for this phone some Icons etc. are not sharp/clear. Anyway still you can have about 4 themes from this website.
2) Battery is pretty well and I am fully satisfied with it. Because looking at the Size of display and processor it should use more powers, but still battrey lasts very long.
3) As for Hang-up, not at all, except it takes more time during switching from Potrait to landscape mode of display.
Also while opening App. Mgr. it takes more time depending on how many applications are inside it.
4) As for softwares, there are few but hope soon many will be available.
I dont see any problems in this phone, you may buy If you want check several reviews on Internet before buy. I feel its really a Dream Phone.

I also find problems in the spreadsheet.
1. I can't apply any formulas/functions. They won't work!
2. I can't change the color of the font and the background.
I think there are some bugs in the software. Does anyone knows how to fix them?

Hey Dev,
Need your help urgently. I bought E70 yesterday and it's really good. But I have got myself into a problem while exploring it.
I put a phone lock password and set the feature for 'Lock by SMS'. When I locked the phone by sms and unlocked it again, the phone got unlocked but it is saying my memory card is locked and is asking for a password. Do you know if there is any default password?
Luckily I copied all the files from my card to PC - also the hidden sys files. If I format my card will I get back all the preinstalled applications by just copying these backed up files to my card.
Please reply - if required I have mentioned my Email.
