Has anyone got formulas in spreadsheets to work on the E70? (a) When I select a function from the function menus, nothing gets inserted. (b) When type in =3+4 the formula appears in the cell and the value,7, up in the edit box. When I pick "show formula", the formula appears in both places.

What am I doing wrong?

    now u told me in detail

    i was using N91 and N91 give me lot of fuss i was very distub because of N91 when me got first its automaticly turns on or off or hanging again again themes was not working so me changed other one again same problem with it so me sold out when me went for theme in N91 its reverse to default still u can check in N91 boys r cring for themes i cant under stand what Nokia did with N91 and thats very expensive set but after that i like E70 very very much so please tell me clearly what u deeply find good or bad in E70 what do u think which feature have to in it or which one not have to in it? and also about themes what about E70 themes working in it? lot of boys r saying not have to bought any new set of Nokia in first release what about battery timing?

      I am very sorry for giving you all half / incorrect information earlier and now I had checked the PhoneBook Feature in detail and then I found that ;

      There are about 37 ~ 38 Different Types of Fields that One Persons Data you can have and these Fields are as below. Morover you can add such fields in any number (unlimited) morover you can also edit the Text of the Fields, i.e. you can write / change the Text of any field. However you cannot write other than numbers in the Phone nos. field. But there is one NOTE Field in which you can write anything in text format for that ID. Such NOTE field you can add in many nos. to store more data or notes for that ID.

      1) Title
      2) First Name
      3) Suffix
      4) Company
      5) Job Title
      6) Nick name
      7) Tel.
      8) Tel. (Home)
      9) Tel. (Business)
      10) Mobile
      11) Mobile (Home)
      12) Mobile (Business)
      13) Video Call
      14) Video Call (Home)
      15) Video Call (Bus.)
      16) Internet Telephone
      17) Internet Tel. (Home)
      18) Internet Tel. (Bus.)

          Brother i think so edit field is possible in Nokia but not possible to write in numeric field but i want confirmation as i heared that E70 phonebook is most advance then any other Nokia set so kindly give me perfect Answer

              To : All

              Does Anybody tried loading Yahoo Mail Beta on E-70, I tried loading it, but it doesnot load it, do anyone know the reason and solution for it. ? (Is it RAM memory shortage ? Or Its Browser's limitation ?).

              This can be a perfect mail solution if it can be loaded on E-70 browser, then you dont need to have any E-Mail software, if you can load Yahoo Mail Beta it will work like POP3 mail. Experts and Software Engg. please help.

                Thank you for your info on zooming with * and # buttons with the E70 closed. It works amazingly well. I had been trying with the E70 opened using the ' and # buttons.

                  Hi to All,
                  Sorry buzy last few days, anyway I will try to reply for all pending questions here :

                  1) To : Nick / 15-July
                  + No, E-70 cannot play WMA Music Files, Infact I tried but Nokia Software doesnot play.
                  However there may be one of third party software which can be able to play, but you must find it and buy this software.
                  + I dont know Camera quality N90/N70 but the one in E70 is quiet enough for your day to day need, who needs professional camera in a Mobile phone which is basically a communication device.

                  2) To : KK / 15-July
                  Yes, It works If try to zoom in & out by * & # buttons when E-70 is closed.(What is "" ?)

                  3) To : Shakeel / 15-July
                  There are about 11 Fields and can be more if you have 2 nos. in same catagory For eg. If you have 2 Office nos. there may be one extra field for the same. BUT editing the Field is not possible.

                  4) To : Archi / 16-July
                  Noted and thanks, If you get to know about RM-10 then do post it here.
                  (It cannot be processor because I got to know the processors details from one website
                  and it was 32-bit RISC ARM9 @ 206 MHz)

                  5) To : ROM / 17-July
                  Please tell me from where Tomtom GPS Software is available for download, then I can download it and try on my E70.

                    Been using it for the last 2 weeks and it's great. However, the orientation change over time as mentioned in the review is very annoying. The screen is also a bit small IMO as a business phone. The lack of Blackberry Connect so far is also frustrating as it was my aim for purchasing the phone in the first place. Hope Nokia will come up with BB Connect soon.

                      the north american version triband gsm 850 1800 1900 mhz is coming in the states soon !last weak i saw the e70 with 900 triband and the e61 was also there but now it'S NOT THERE ennymore ! go on nokia.com to check
                      if you are living in america and have a data plan with a provider like singular that uses 850 and 1900 youre screwed if you buy the e70 european version (gsm 900 1800 1900)

                      this is for all the consumers that payes for edge data plan or peopeles that uses the phone indoors.

                              DEV, have you tried installing that tomtom gps software? they tested it ont he n70 and it was awesome... (i saw the video of it in youtube.com) i was jsut wondering if it will work on the 3rdgen Symbian.

                                Thank You for all your efforts! This sounds calming. I have to get my hands on a phone with that software.

                                Answering your question, I do not know what is RM-10. I think I saw something like that on a page talking about the processor of the phone, but I do not have any glue what it means... Maybe it is relevant that on which processor that operating system runs???

                                  Dev u r using E70 would u like to tell me about its phonebook feature i was using N91 that was fort of problem for me so sold it E70 phone is like N91? What is the advance feature in phonebook of E70?

                                  I like the phonebook method of SonyEricsson P910i thats wast or write what u want in front of numeric field

                                  Example

                                  In Nokia

                                  Mobile < U can write here in field)
                                  000000 < Here u cant write in numeric field)

                                  only the field is edit able not in numeric place in Nokia

                                  In SE

                                  Mobile (W) < Here u cant write in field
                                  000000 < Here u can write what or how much u want to write like a note in numeric field

                                  Thats i like very much

                                    According to Gsmarena E70 review the "'" and "#" buttons can be used to zoom in and out when browsing a web page. Have anyone tried this? I find that "#" can zoom out but "'" does not seem to work. Thanks

                                      1.Can E70 play wma music files?
                                      2.The camera - how does it perform compared to N90/N70, is it really that inferior as they state in the gsmarena review?

                                        Hey, in your message posted on 12-July you had asked for whether we can set daily alarm with just one go..

                                        I want to tell you that its possible with there are other third party softwares like Alarm Manager which can do this easily, however Nokia software doesnot have this feature in their original software.

                                        I think new third party softwares are coming day by day more in numbers and soon we will have good amount of games and else.

                                        I wonder if there is InfraRed Universal Remote Control Software already out or not for S-60 V.3 ? If anyone find then please do
                                        tell me.
