Here you are. Someone has posted the solution to your query. Go to the file and while pressing the shift key press the enter. And you will find a tick mark against the file. Move to next file and repeat the exercise.

theres a shortcut to mark a message.. the arrow up left of @.. the press it together the down navgation.. try it.. :D

There is no shortcut to marking a msg. However if you go back a few days you will find lot of other sort cuts and other tips on E71 posted by me. Please make use of them. They come in very handy.

Is there any shortcut key to mark the messages in message folder? Every time I want multiple mark I've to go to option and then mark one by one. If there is any shortcut key for mark please let me know.

You cant win any wars or battles with the giants. To give you a surprise, let me explain what the giants do. They have separate departments of sales and service. They have no connection. Their tasks are different. Sales deals with selling new phones while Service deals with looking after them. When you return a phone to them it goes to the service dept who removes all the serviceable parts from these phones and assembles phones which are given out as replacement phones. Meaning that the replacement phone that you get is not a new phone but a refurbished one. Which is no where near a new phone. And that is why their guarantee if the balance of your new phone that you returned to them.
So, friends, you cant win.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I thought that I must apprise you of the facts. Lessons learnt, use your phone very carefully and return it only when you have reached the other extreme like Vish had.

why I asked this because I got a replacement after a month fight with them over emails, their care centers, customer care. Previously the phone use to take 10-12 hrs to get charged and 4hrs to discharge.. so finally I won and they provided me a new phone.. and I am really happy to have this phone, was wondering if they could provide be E72 but no worried, its a great phone..

Very gud and fast phone.. I love its internet speed with WLAN.. but it lacks sound quality and Camera quality... Its a good buy for business users.. definitely not a gud buy for music lovers...

got the phone about 2 months ago, absoloutly AMAZING, i had e63 for awhile and loved that but this one blew me away... only issue is the shape is abit awkward and i prefer the e72 qwerty and selection key layout, just putting that out there

very good compact sized E71,fast software.
but display qality(screen), and qality of speakers v.v.poor.no stereo sond, 3.2mp camera but pictures of poor qality. definitely need improvement without enlarging the size.

Can anyone tell me in brief about the whole performance of this phone in gprs and net connection with pc. How doe's it works ? Is there any problems you see and how is the net surfing speed on connection with your pc.

hi guys i purchased new nokia e71 one week ago,it comes with v 500: and it is very very responsive and fast..i have not charged the battery yet and is still going with good use..thank god i have not purchased e72,one of my frnds suffering.though it has faster processer but e71 loads faster.its comes with office 6.2,advanved call manager,multi scanner,world mate,real player latest update,......
I am enjoying it....
Its slim sexy and in build quality much better than e 72.....remember friends my phone is made in korea...dont purchase if made in china is written..becoz chinese are the masters of duplicate.....in explore software my showing 369 mhz of speed but my friends e72 showing only 198 mhz of speed.+i dont know how is this possible but i am save..

I bought my E71 3 weeks ago. My concern is the calendar, every time i want to post in "To Do List" and time to save it, it will always appear the word "SYSTEM ERROR"
Is there any one out there to help me with my concern?

Bluetooth is a bit difficult but USB is a breeze. Install Nokia PC Suite. Go to Connectivity->USB and select PC Suite. Now connect the phone to the PC via USB cable. On PC Suite select Internet. In settings here specify your service provider and the modem and select Connect. And you are on.

I am using email, google maps Latitude, Anti virus, Skype and Nimbuzz IMs and also browse the net connecting to the laptop and on phone as well and I get about 5 to 6 hours. Mind you, all these apps access the net continuously. And I am happy with the battery life I am getting. I charge it with the regular charger, car charger, with the laptop (surprised as Nokia does not allow USB charging) and solar charger. Whatever is handy.
