hi guys i purchased new nokia e71 one week ago,it comes with v 500: and it is very very responsive and fast..i have not charged the battery yet and is still going with good use..thank god i have not purchased e72,one of my frnds suffering.though it has faster processer but e71 loads faster.its comes with office 6.2,advanved call manager,multi scanner,world mate,real player latest update,......
I am enjoying it....
Its slim sexy and in build quality much better than e 72.....remember friends my phone is made in korea...dont purchase if made in china is written..becoz chinese are the masters of duplicate.....in explore software my showing 369 mhz of speed but my friends e72 showing only 198 mhz of speed.+i dont know how is this possible but i am save..

I bought my E71 3 weeks ago. My concern is the calendar, every time i want to post in "To Do List" and time to save it, it will always appear the word "SYSTEM ERROR"
Is there any one out there to help me with my concern?

Bluetooth is a bit difficult but USB is a breeze. Install Nokia PC Suite. Go to Connectivity->USB and select PC Suite. Now connect the phone to the PC via USB cable. On PC Suite select Internet. In settings here specify your service provider and the modem and select Connect. And you are on.

I am using email, google maps Latitude, Anti virus, Skype and Nimbuzz IMs and also browse the net connecting to the laptop and on phone as well and I get about 5 to 6 hours. Mind you, all these apps access the net continuously. And I am happy with the battery life I am getting. I charge it with the regular charger, car charger, with the laptop (surprised as Nokia does not allow USB charging) and solar charger. Whatever is handy.

if we use internet on phone then how much battery back up we can expect?..
rite now its 2.5 days without the use of internet with normal flow of incoming and outgoing calls, with internet its 1.5 days no matter if I am chatting or sitting idle on Gtalk and FB..
Is it normal or should I be getting more backup?

This a gr8 phone and easy to use, good battery power. But it stopped working for me after a year of use..now it is not charging any battery and getting shut down. Nokia care said some internal h/w problem:-(

Have you tried UC Browser? If not download from ovi.com free and start using it. It loads fat being small and runs fast too.

the only problem about e71 is the center keypad!when i bought my e71 phone it was gray but now it looks like brown!

This Nokia phone is only good once its new, mine lasted only 8 m,onths and died. What could have been the problem, it all started with the battery.

i just bought my e71 yesterday and it suits me well. the ovi suite is quite good and it helps me to manage my phonebook entries. i checked the firmware version and it still v200 so i updated it to v500... which you can find it the ovi suite and it works just fine. but dont forget to backup your data alright? e71 is a good phone. i can do a lot of things and ideas will never run out.
