it is working well to me. And i would like to say, i love it. If ur budget is not very high, i recommend this. Simply has it all.

got it 2 days ago and what I noticed straight away is that it's a bit slow, simple getting into the address list takes around a second, which is to much for me. I hoped this model will be responsive as good as older simple nokias but it isn't. I just checked the spec and the processor is actually pretty slow, this might be the reason...

Hi, I'm from Indonesia. I hav an E71 for 8 months now. Mine is Nokia E71-2 FW200(Made in Korea).
I love this phone since the 1st time i played with it. I'll give u some review about this phone.
Pros:
+Top Notch Build Quality
+Excellent keyboard
+Symbian OS (Plenty apps to install)
+Hackable (Use HelloX + OPDA cert)
+Hi-Capacity Battery
+Good WiFi
+IRDA (never use it anyway)
+Can use multiple connections at once (U can use GPRS for my Palringo app, and still can use WiFi to listen OnLine Radio. My N78 with FP2 doesnt allow multiple connection @ once.)
+Slim and very solid
Cons:
-Bad Camera image quality (Blurry & not vivid)
-No FP2 update, but Nokia E71x has FP2. T_T
-The included Stereo headset is rubish (when i said rubish, it's really is)
-Use 2.5mm headphone jack instead of 3.5mm (So what? I'll tell u later why)
-Slow Data Rate in USB connection/Mass Storage (My N78 is noticeable faster, but My SE K530 is alot more slower). The TransferRate is about 1MByte/s.
-No ThemesEffect (Nokia N78 & E72 has it)
-Bad Photo Gallery software, it only display 3 pictures in screen so i hav to keep press down to view my entire photos collection. Imagine if u hav 2000photos in ur phone, it's very painful.
-The Dpad chrome is start to peel off soon, if u use ur nail to instead ur thumb.
Software Bugs:
-I have to charge up to 7hours from empty if i dont quit my Palringo (Chat Apps). Normally only takes 2 hours. Strange huh?
-Cant mute the Camera Sound
-Cant use front camera to take pict, front camera only can be use for VideoCalling and MobiolaWebcam.
-Cant update the firmware without PC. (My N78 can update its firmware by connecting to internet via WiFi)
-No GPS tagging for the camera (N78 has it, but there's a software to do this in E71)
E72 versus E71:
+Better camera + VGA vid rec @ 15FPS
+FP2
+3.5mm port
+N-Series Image Gallery
-But still the E71's casing is still better (subjective)
-It's about $200 more expensive
-No improvement in Screen Resolution (still 240x320)
-Ovi Maps 3 (So what, i hav upgraded my Nokia Maps 2 to OviMaps3_cracked)
My E71's Improvements:
+I use my SE P800 headset, it's far superior in SQ than the default headset. The Bass is noticeable now.
+Full cover silicone case (Cover the keypad & dpad too)
That's all i can tell u, if there're updates i'll post it here. If u confused to choose between E71 and E72. All u hav to do is wait for 3 months, the E72's price will drop.

After giving much thought as to whether I should buy the E71 or E72, I finally bought myself a black E71.
The E71 looks and feels more solid than the E72 and the latter's price goes down very fast, unlike the E71.
Anyway, I think I made the right decision after reading the negative comments on the E72. I might upgrade to E72 after probably 6 months or so.

For any one comparing between the E71 and the E72 ...
I was in the same dilemma, and dinally I've bought the E71..
-The price difference ain't worth it
-The E71 looks much better to me
-The E71 is built like a tank (BUILD QUALITY ROCKS!)

plx can u guys tell me dat why does not itx message save in da outbox... i meant when i txt by my self to someone it can be save and yet sent... but when i reply to somone who texted me than da sent message doesnt save just sent only... i cant even check that what i wrote in ma sent message in replying thing only not when i text someone itself... it happens just when i reply to somone who texted...

i am confused btw this phone and E72..i , presently own nokia 5800 express music..excellent phone but infinite problems...after cming frm service it has developed newer and even moreeeee problems...everytime i want to send a msg i hv to restart my phone!.n my vibration option doesnt work in any profiles!
n also i cnt even pick up calls sometimes!!!! suddenly the phone restarts a couple of times!!
therefore wwant a new one..
i prefer E71 over E72 coz E72 is recent i dnt wnt to make the sme mistake of buying a phone as soon as it has released!
therefore,
my question is is the camera very bad or is it decend enough..i am a picture taking person...
n on the whole this phones doesnt start having problems rite after a couple of months!!?!!?
