You can also check out the Nokia 6220 which is a candbar phone with 3.6mbps HSDPA and an impressive 5Mp camera with xenon flash. it retails a lot cheaper than the E71. Or you could check something like a Sony Ericsson C903.

It is well known that, in order to work properly, WM requires much faster processors and larger RAMs than Symbian. Therefore, it is perfectly normal for Omnia B7320 to have a faster processor and larger RAM than E71, otherwise it would be a very very slow device. E71 has always been considered a fast phone (check page 3 of the Gsmarena review, for instance).

I just bought a Nokia E71 for $180, waiting until Friday to get it, ive had one before stolen and i absolutely love this phone, tons of apps, Nokia Conversation is a must have if you text a lot and just one of the best overall phones.

Buy Omnia PRO B7320. It has 535MHz processor and 256 RAM (E71 has 369MHz and 128 MB RAM). And Windows Mobile 6.5 is for better than this old symbian OS.

Hii guys...
am planning to buy a phone with wifi enabled, GPS, camera 3 MP or more , ease of downloading applications, and few others with cost around 220-280$..i came down to E71...
main use:: going for higher studies abroad.. so more interntional calling thru skype , wifi and then GPS..
anyone could suggest me more alternatives or should i go for it...
when shud i buy it..do u think prices would fall more this new year..(i still have couple of months before leaving for PARIS)

That very bad customer support for just 20days old mobile. But Nokia India is planing to give extended warranty by paying extra money. There is no use of having Nokia Warranty. If this is the case I would have purchased it from the Gray Market.

Very bad customer support in India. If the handset has an issue and you didn't identify within 48 hrs time.. It is very difficult to get a support/repair for the manufacture defects. They have taken my new e71 for 3 times to repair the Manufacture issue and failed to rectify it. I don't know where to report this issue.

I've been using my e71 for 2 months now. No regrets. Its the perfect phone for me. I finally have contentment coz i found the perfect phone.

pg_din, 14 Dec 2009hi all, i already use E71 about 1 month..i confused why may... moreU may have some other applications running in the background. If so, just shut down those u are not using.
Press & hold the Home button to check background applications.

Bought E72 and then returned it back after only 2 days. It do have improvements but E71 is better in looks, design and construction. If a speedy processor and 5MP aren't attractive enought for you, I recommend to stick with your e71.........It simply ROCKSSS!!!

hi all, i already use E71 about 1 month..i confused why may phone battery almost weak in two days only. my friend phone can go for 4 days.. very confused why??
