Hi frens,i just get this stuff today,its amazing especially its QWERTY keyboard,speed is fine...
Sound quality is above average.all features are amazing .but if u like to get camera pictures plz don't go for it....

lol im soo bored at work.
umm definatley go for the Samsung 7320. have to admit the nokia e71 looks better, but the samsung 7320 has the latest software: Windows Media Player 10, Adobe Flash Lite, autofocus camera with face and smile detection Geo-tagging, MS Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 are the differences but as if ur going to us them.

Yes you can watch youtube videos on the handset, make sure ur in perfect coverage or it will take ages to download and cost HEAPS!! the keypad is awesome especially if your not used to T9 (dictionary).
Mark: by moving your folders to the memory card it will still stay at the same speed, because ur memory card is still accessable.

i work a phone shop, ive got the nokia e71 in white, its awesome. let downs would be that the dictionary doesnt have all words downloaded already, the camera isnt the best compared to some of the new handsets with 5MP and some 8MP. its awesome for MSN messenger, WIFI, Word documents and also using the handset as a modem (teathering) just plug it in with ur USB cable and its got fast internet speeds depending on ur coverage

To anyone:
I've created different folders in my messages,,,
Folders having 500 messages and up became very slow to access...
Is moving these folders to "MEMORY CARD" option would resolve this issue?

I plan to buy a mobile, thinking between Nokia e71 and Samsung 7320. Kindly suggest me if anyone has idea which one would be better and user friendly. Presently i am using a Nokia Brand.

reese_92, 14 Oct 2009hi guys. i bought an E71 a week ago and it came preinstalle... moreto use themes that u download u should go on:
"tools" then "app manager"
software installation: all
online certificate check: off
if the sofware expired..then u should change the date setting on your phone backwards (ex. to year 2007) before u install the software then setting back again to normal date after you install the software. :)

why this phone hangs so easily when doing multitasking?
sometimes its also turn off itself automatically and when i turn it on it back to basic themes.
is everyone had the same problem?

Was initially impressed but the novelty wore off.
Pros:
Form factor
Build
Keyboard
Battery Life
Cons:
Poor email client
Pathetic attempt at spreadsheets (v windows mobile)
Unreliable (reboots, dies, overheats etc)
Poor camera
Dated screen resolution
Poor media mangement
Back to win mo I think!!
Credit to "3" the uk network though... seriously impressed with their services especiall the free push email.

Thanks for the info!!! but I have additional in... morehi. to check the firmware version, you have to press #*0000# on the homescreen. you can only do this when the phone is on. about where it is made, im pretty sure the one made in korea is as good as the ones made in finland. i think that all newer e71s are made either in korea no china. nokia will stop making then in finland as they are getting old. hope this might have helped you. cheers.
