hi guys, i just bought the e71, but i find that the image quality of the pix taken 4m its camera is very poor... as in its like vga camera types... is there a possibility of the camera of the fone being faulty or anythin ?? plz help! :(

don’t purchase any product from hot spot retail chain because their products and rates are not reliable,they are all fake. more over they specially deals in discontinued models of the companies like motorola,samsung and sony ericsson because these phones are of very poor quality and are providing huge profits.

If you can afford to buy an iphone which is close to N97 price but which has almost no freatures compared to the N97, I suggest you go for the N97.
But strictly for business purposes either you get the E71 or wait a bit longer for the E72 to come out. Because the E72 will be somewhat cheaper than the N97 and will have a better and a greater processor.
But choosing from the ones you have mentioned, the N97, iphone, BB and The E71, Go for the E71. But if its for corporate use go for the blackberry as the E71 will not support email clients such as lotus notes and so on...

As regards BB, I hate it (very personal) because BB with a terrorist is the deadliest combination. Because of its security or whatever, all people working for companies are using BB. N97 and Iphone are too expensive doing the same thing as would an E71. They are definitely better than E71but at double the price, almost.

I am using this mobile just for a week.on the 3rd day I lost the memory card cover on the side.It is so loosly fitted rhat just a mere touch causes it to be separated.so i opened the nereby cover and preserved it in another place.Another big problem is that i cannot see any online or downloaded video clips as the screen shows"not supported" so can any body help me?

I currently own an E71 and enjoy it tremendously; it has to be said, however, that the image quality of photos or videos is an area of opportunity.
Except for image quality, the phone shows strong performance in all other aspects: the E71 is slim and beautifully designed; supports email, web browsing and even GPS; has all relevant business applications; has all multimedia functions; supports all types of connections. Blackberry's just been given a solid run for its money!

Ayaan, 17 Aug 2009Hey friends. I am opting to buy this phone. I jus have one ... morethe keys are a little small for my liking,and i have small fingers! i often hit the wrong one when typing and have to go back and change it.
apart from that the phone is not too bad.good if you want a phone to use like a tiny pc,not so great if you want personalising features (its a girly thing)
i got it in the white and it looks pretty good.
the camera is ok,although the flash has a tendancy to leave a milky blur over your pics no matter how close or far away you are.
overall a 6 1/2 out of 10......

Do not change the firmware unless it is giving you probs. Mine is the same old one it came with, ie, 200. ... made in Dec 2008. I am happy as it not posing any probs to me. The phone runs fine and I am happy.
