I jus have one ... morei got my self this phone, yes the buttons are small but cleverly designed they are in a diamond shape even if u can have thick fingers u will still be able to push the correct buttons, another sleek feature is u have an option of reading the massages or the phone will read out the messages for u, now thats kwl

thanks guys.. he insists that its (the nokia e71)the real thing even though its made in korea.. i hear that they are mass-produced in dubai, i don't know how true that is though.. and its still costing about £210!! i just do not want an inferior product when i paid for the real thing.. so please tell me, are the ones mad in korea same as those made in finland.. i definitely know they have a different firmware and i can upgrade, right?

Hi,
E71 is really a great phone.
I owned it for 3 months, I have no problems in it except for one thing.
My phone restarts itself while im texting or sometime while i'n listening on music. It happened twice a week (barely).
The current Firmware of my phone is 210.21.006, do you think i need to upgrade it to firmwware 300.X.X.X to fix this?

I jus have one ... morei have been using this phone since 2008 october.. its a really good phone.. u wil get used to the keypad .. not necesarily u hav to use nails... but u can hav a look at the E72 if u willing to wait. the specs r pretty good for the E72 .. not yet released though

But, the keys are convex and you can differentiate the keys aa you move your fingers over them. Like I said before, in half an hour you would be typing as fast as any one of us. Just take the plunge and I can assure you that you would love it.

My thimbs are fuite fat and I don't find it hard at all to type. I'm also a frequent texter who sends about 100 to 150 messages per day. Don't use your nails on the keypad. It might spoil it.

Hey friends. I am opting to buy this phone. I jus have one problem. People using this phone pls give me ur feed back. As the keys are small and very close, v have to use our nails to operate. I am a frequent user of SMS. I am worried whether using of nails on the keys will have an adverse effect??? problems related to colour removal or the digits or alphabets removal. Any such problem.?? Pls let me know.. Your early reply will be highly appreciated..

Precy, 17 Aug 2009Nokia Eseries are good in all aspect. If you cannot afford ... moreFor your information I have been using a nokia E71 since last september. I don't care if someone buys one or not, its their choice and their money. I discourage people from buying this phone because certain people wants to use this phone for multimedia purposes which this device isn't build for.
It is a known fact that the camera is not in the same league as the N series devices. The performace is poor both in image mode and video recording mode. Even GsmArena admits it. And if someone buys one and they are not happy; they go and post comments everywhere the camera is bad, the sounds are not good as something else the screen isn't big enough etc. etc. And those comments make the ones who really need a good business phone to aviod buying this phone.
People are spending their hard earned money on their things and if someone is going to make a mistake and regret we should help them to not to make the mistake. I have seen so many people who still regrets buying the wrong product for their needs. Even I have been in their shoes and I know how it feels.
And finally remember, these forums are there to share our experiences as well as to help others make the correct choice. Just becasue someone owns one and they like it and accepts as an all rounder, others will not share the same feeling with that person.

which one i sho... moreE 71 is a much much better phone which will fulfill all the features which u are lookin for.
E 75 wil be a slider and will be almost same as a E71.
So E 71 will be a good choice.

Winura, 15 Aug 2009The phone will notify you instantly when you receive an ema... moreIf you configure Nokia Mail shown as @ in Menu->Communications you will get instant notification. You have to connect the breather light to it. It will start breathing the moment an email comes to your inbox. Do not worry about the battery consumption. Besides a wall charger, you can use a car charger not only in a car but also on a bike as all bikes have 12 volts battery these days. Just connect a cigarette lighter socket to it.

Hi Guys,
I have just bought E71 and using HTC Touch from last 2 years. One limitation observed is Sony Erricson Bluetooths are not compatible. Can anybody help me to establish communication between E71 & Sony Bluetooth?

I had the E71 for about 3-4 weeks. When receiving e-mails, you have to click once to retrieve it. It's a little better because because the N95 you have to click two buttons for the same result. It a cumbersome that this phone is for ppl who don't want a blackberry, but want one, and yet you don't get e-mails instantly. I'd rather have the option of my battery to be drained by being on the internet all the time, then not knowing when I get an e-mail. I hope Nokia makes the N97 online 24-7. -Nijnsky
