Is the Nokia E71 charged by the data cable or not if it does not charged by the data cable so it is a fault in that system bcoz every thing in that mobile if it's charged by the data cable it's superve other wise not better

U know, on the phone feature itself it doesn't have that so called "lock application" which enables users to lock certain apps likes messages, gallery, contacts and alot more.
but the good news is we have this software and currently using it.
the name of the software is webgate advance device lock.
i bought it just about more or less 15USD using paypal to their website.

Sai, 17 Jul 2009I bought E71 abt a month.. Cute fon..everything is ok ex... moreit's a business phone but fits for all catageory . battery can be saved , if you reduce the usage of vibrator and a business phone with 3.2 mp is not bad

I purchased this for my wife. she was happy for the first few days, after the newness wore off she wants to return it and i dont blame her. Just to compose a text you have to go through three steps. Pulls a poor signal and the keys are not good at all. Sure it's capable but to much menu diving to carry out tasks. Go with a Blackberry, or PALM.

Hey all,
I am looking at getting a new phone and this one looks great, just a few questions on it and it would really help if someone who has this phone could help me out with it, thanks :)
does this phone have a password lock option? Like to lock your messages or any application or to lock to main screen in general? I would love a message lock because I have VERY nosy relatives, especially my mother..!!
Also, with the internet, is facebook and MSN free to go on? If not does it just cost the general amount your plan charges you on any website?
Does it have voice record?
Does it have an alarm setting?
Does it have a calculator?

iv got the phone..its more like a bussiness phne than an ordinary one..i like this phone tho..its light has got lots of features but the camera can improve

I bought E71 abt a month..
Cute fon..everything is ok except poor quality camera n lifelong of the battery

The Nokia E71 is a brilliant business phone, offers more features than a blackberry hands down, It's the blackberry killer, by the way whoever owns a nokia E71 should really make sure they have Garmin Mobile XT on their phone cuz it does not Require a Data plan and Blackberry OS refused to receive Garmin XT support so thats ONE MORE WIN for E71....The program is amazing by the way just like a Regular GARMIN GPS

Guys,I need help. I am using a nokia E71 in australia, and all this time i used to get my yahoo emails pushed into my phone. From yesterday it stopped and I can not get it to work. ( to push my emails to the phone) I wonder if any of you face with a similar problem. My yahoo email address goes as xxxx@yahoo.com.au.
How can I fixed this? Appreciate if you could help
