Great phone, been using it since october easily 10 in every field.
Will hopefully be upgrading to the E72 next summer once my contract's done, easily the best phone i've ever had.
the v300.xx.xxx update is only available to european users at the moment, so anyone in america/asia/wherever won't be able to get it yet.

I got the phone 2 days ago.. So far... I'm in love with it... Probably going to buy the E72 for my main phone when it comes out...
I've been a WinMo user for almost 5 years, I've had a 5500 Sport, N71, N73 and they were all backup phones. Then my wife got an E71 for herself... I ditched my WM phones (well, sold them off) and got myself an E71 as well.
I never thought I'd be using symbian as my main phone.. But this thing just got me hooked.

Please tell me where to download the latest software, when I connect to Nokia website it is saying the latest version is 200...., where is the 300 ??, Thanks

I have had two of these the first a white one in Sept 08 and now a grey and have never faced such issues related to holding the phone. I even use it as a modem while the phone lies flat on a bed with face up notwithstanding the use of Nimbuzz and other clients like NMS on the phone itself....secondly quite a few phones these days have antenna at the bottom and it does NOT make any difference as far as their reception is concerned. I own HTC Touch Pro as well as Diamond and both have the antenna at the bottom part and have no reception problems whatsoever. I suggest you check the network and if u have already done that please get your hardware checked...moreover if you are in India the Largest operator Airtel here has some peculiar tendency in their network that makes HTC or Nokia that is regardless of the OS(windows or symbian); phones restart while on net quite a few times. This never happens on other operators like Vodafone; Idea, BSNL etc.... Hope this helps.

But if you dont i think what you can do is to re configure you WLAN router. If it is possible change the security type to WPA or WPA2 since they are much harder to be hacked. Hope thic might helped you.

I just bought the E71 .... i do have wireless internet but everytime i try to connect, it asks for pre shared key or WEP key..... can anyone tell me from where i can find them.

recently bought E71 and the GPS doesnot work. whenever I start the GPS it hangs. will somebody help me in this matter

because i heard there are many bugs with the later version, it was slow and took few seconds to go back to menu, even with the wireless presenter. it used to hang.kindly reply me now
