I have had this phone for over one year. Everything works great but all of a sudden it has started to act funny. It shuts down by itself. I have tried everything but seems like it has a brain of its own. It shall work when it feels like. Read more forums on other sites before investing $400 in this phone.

Nokia Messaging works well on my E51.and I'm sure that it will work well too on E71 because I think that E71 is better than E71.But Nokia Messaging is still in Trial Version,so I think that it does not support so many mail server. I am using Nokia Messaging on my E51 for several mail server like: Ymail,Gmail&Windowslive. It works very good. So,try to reinstall NM,configure it step by step again for mail servers above. Hope it can help.

i want to know that in e 71, how the MicroSD Slot--U.S. Version is different from microcard sd of indian version. do mobile brought in US have limited warranty or it is inernational, can a unlocked version of e71 brought from Amasion.com will work normally in india or do i require to do some modifications.
second ... quality of constuction of mobile will be different in different countries....

John Ralph, 14 May 2009The only reason I am concerned about buying this phone inst... morewell mr ralph you have answered your question urself , no one uses nokia email system cause it is still in development stages IT IS NOT PUSH EMAIL and it sucks . blackberry is rocksolid in connectivity and emailing
i am also using e71 but only because its cheaper than the bold , i can live without push mail and i dont have to be on a postpaid blackberry data plan as any data works and you can download a couple of messaging and emailing software to well .... get a few notches closer to a blackberry ( mind you e71 is a looker )

It's great sometime. But the music player program is hard to use. Cuz im using N81 too. N81 music player is great. E71 camera is worse than N81. The keyboard is too small. But its body looks hansome

The only reason I am concerned about buying this phone instead of a Blackberry is its emailing client. What are your experiences? Is it as good as a Blackberry? The other features I am not so fussed about. I am in SE Asia and Blackberry's are selling like hot cakes. No one I know uses a Nokia to receive emails. WHY?

Good this phone is the best had already tested the e61i but this takes the others on benefits has everything that I do not think you need anything else besides its affordable price, I recommend it with my eyes closed
