Hi,
I have just bought E71, bt whenever i tried to connect through Wi-Fi, I get an error "No gateway Reply". Has anyone face this problem?? Pls let me solution if anyone has faced it n get resolved..

E71 - Better than the best [Much Better than iPhone, Omnia, xperia, blackberry]
I was pleasantly surprised by my new Nokia E71. I have been Nokia fan for years and this is my 5th Nokia Instrument. But I must admit this is the best, most perfect instrument Nokia has made. If you are just behind the looks or touch screen this phone is not for you. If you are looking for a beauty with a brain, you cannot go past E71. It has all the features possible for a smart multimedia office phone!

Cons:

I read in some reviews about the criticism about cramped keyboard and smaller screen size, but after using it and looking at what it has got, I will say it’s all non-sense. Nokia has done tremendous job to fit this screen size. Keyboard is perfect and very easy to use.
If you are in the market to get a phone with best features, believe me this is the best you can get.
Bottom-line: 100% Features 0% Bullshit. An Absolute bargain for its price

i have an important question
i bought this sexy smart phone 4 about a mount, when i check the last update 4 it , nokia says that software version 200 released but when i inter my phone code it says that sorry no new version , i think its because of my operator(vivo) is this so ?
what can i do ?
and a question about battery , its very very very very weak i have only 7 hours a day
but in gsmarena review they told great battery life?????

My phone works fine. But on installing e-mail from service provider, the phone automatic locks after 20 minutes. I tried it changing the setting in Security but NONE as security lock does not operatre. It comes back to 20 minutes. Can someone advice.

Me, I drool over the Blackberry but on a practical note the e71 has captured my heart both in form and in use. Battery life is important since I go out of town and receive a lot of calls.
Form wise I think e71 is cute versus the big looking Blackberry. Someday maybe I'll switch when I get older or my position in the company rises to Presdent LOL Here with my e71 I also look cute while looking professional.

Just do the backup, update and put the backup back. No loss of messages, calender, or even personalised settings. It is so easy

Just bought a new E71 phone. It all works fine except that I can not send text messages, i can receive them though.
I made sure that I have the correct message center number.
I also restored the phone to factory setting several times in addition to making a full reset.
I also found some posts talking about the "Conversations" application, I installed and removed it.
No luck whatsoever. I still can't send text messages. It's kind of frustrating, cause I have a feast here and I cannot greet my friends using text messages.
