althea, 07 Mar 2009guys any one can tell me why my e71 cannot open a doc or xl... moreYou cannot open Office 2007 files as it will be saved in docx format which is not compatible with office 2003 , you need to save it in office 2003 format inorder to make it open by E71 ;)

just started having a problem today... cant open my messages in my inbox :( anybody had this problem??? or is it somthing ive done?? ive tried resetting the phone and replacing the battery but nothing seems to work... any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi, i just bought E71. i would like to know how to turn off the camera sound??
even when my phone is in silent mode, the camera sound is still there. how do i off it??

i've got this handset 2 weeks ago and it's really awesome in every sense of the word.
i got 3 questions here and i'll appreciate if anyone can answer as quickly as possible:
1-how we can transfer the folders to the handset without the handset deleting the folders automatically and putting them in photos, or movies.
for instance, i've many song albums, when i've tried to copy and paste them in the memory card in the music section,,all of them has been only in one file and that was very frustrating if u got like over 700 songs,,,i want them in separate folders not in the same one for god's sake.
and of course it's the same for pictures bcz i've a lot of events and when i've tried to do the same...i got over 900 pictures in the same folder...so why on the hell the handset don't recognize that i wanted so,,,taking in consideration that I'm transferring them in many folders not one
2-i really adore emoticonsssss, so is there any program can add emoticons to this handset!!!
3-the photo call is really small, is there any program that can enlarge the pic when someone is calling me
that's all....so, i'd appreciate if any one can answer me...thx a lot

guys first of all this phone is good only for wlan n u cant send more than 1 email at a time so its better to buy a smart phone like blackberry 0r htc....

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2009nice phone but too bad, call list too limited compare with ... moreive got to admit the call list is pants... if some one rings you say 3 times it only tels you the last time they called.. call list does have a limit but you can change your log to 30 days and it records every contact made to the phone... hope this helps

i just got my E71 from rogers. no doubt, this phone meets my demands. just one problem: the battery fits too tight when i placed it inside. I could not take it out again using my fingers. almost broke my nails. i went to a rogers retailer and the guy couldn't take the battery out himself. he had to use a screwdriver later on to pop it out. he said too it's unusually tight. any similar problem? anyways, i'll send the phone back and i have already asked for a replacement.

I bought this phone a few days ago and so far i LOVE IT!
im having trouble with a couple things and hoping somone can help me here...
when i check my email (hotmail) i can get as far as the Inbox but i cant actually open my mail because a picture pops up in a new window (the picture below inbox,sent,and deleted options on the left side of hotmail) can some one tell me how to fix this please??
also.. i cant connect to the Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger on my phone even though the feature is there. i have blocked the Rogers (canada) network and using my home wifi connection.. could this be the problem??

I think the call list is not a good as my current SE G900 which makes me not to buy e71 afterall.
Call history for G900 can stay up to nearly a mth with hundreds of misscall, hundred of call in and hundred of call out. even number of miss call from a person is recorded. Is important for recalling back past few weeks call from some one, especially clients or some important contact which i can recall it back thru the call list.
