I just bought this phone recently and I recommend it for multi-tasking use. My problem with it is the weight. Otherwise, the phone is strong and has every thing okay.
Cheers and enjoy your E71 with me ...

Vishal, 06 Dec 2008Hi All, i have been doing extensive research on the mobile... morehi vishal...i also went thru the same thing...actually, i havent bought my e71 yet coz all im waiting is for it to have a price drop.but ive already thought it through...i've spent a little more than a year to decide...i actually almost bought a P1...good thing it run out of stock...E71 is a whole lot better...i dont know with others but my brother told me the main problem with SE units is their charger slots...it easily catches dirt and eventually malfunctions...although both of the units have excellent battery life...i tried out P1 also...the touchscreen feature is actually its most impt selling feature for me...yes,the camera of e71 is a little disapointing...but dats why there are digicams available...the qwerty of e71 is easier to use than that of P1...the wifi of e71 is faster than that of P1...and the e71 looks a whole lot better than P1 by the way...hope these help...

Shreshth, 07 Dec 2008Hey guys i am planning 2 buy this phone in a months time?
... moreI have been using E71 for 3 months and I can assure u it has no problems. Works perfect. Have used lot of mobiles before, and this is definitely the best I have used.
No mobile might be perfect, but the one that comes closest to perfection is the E71.
Go ahead and buy it without any hesitation.(unless u r looking for a touchscreen)

- When u open your menu and its arranged as icons, you have 3 rows and 4 columns.. these icons correspond to the numbers on your keypad. For example if you want to open the folder or app thats on the top left, you'd press 1, for the folder/app on the top right you'd press *, for anything between those its either 2 or 3.. for the bottom right app/folder it'd be 0 etc.. do you get it?
for example if your menu in icon view looks like this:
A B C D

I J K L
To open A you'd press 1, 2 for B, 3 for C, and * for D, 4 for E, 5 for F, yada yada..

1st thing: It the best symbian phone EVER!!! It ain't slow like those "wanna-b-iphone" interface, like the nokia N78.
2nd thing: i transferred some data by not using the nokia pc suit that came with the phone, instead i browsed the phone as a mass storage device, then after that my memory card showed repeated photos, the same photo with the same file name over 20 times in the phone. I had 2 format my memory card n only then i could solve the problem. Transferring without pc suit was a horrid experience. Using pc suit was better. I did solve the problem but i'm more keen 2 find out y was there a glitch, if there was one in the 1st place?

Not very sensible of u to make fun of others especially u know what he meant.
No, E71 doesn't connect to BBC. It has its own Push Email. Works fine For me so far. As for someone who asked about the keypad, its responsive enough.

Vishal, 06 Dec 2008Hi All,
i have been doing extensive research on the mobile... moreMan, how could you compare E71 with P1i?
I have it both, let me tell you if you want touchscreen and great camera go to P1i, otherwise E71!
for someone asking about BlackBerry connect, NO, E71 (or newer Nokia) doesn't support BB connect anymore 'cause Nokia is already have Nokia Mail Center. You can Push Email with this Wonderful, Amazing, Charming thing.
Nokia E71 no cell phone like it!
I Love it
