I LOVE THIS PHONE, the style, qwerty key pad, landscpae screen. The camera is notso bad- 3.15mp. I know u can get 8mp now but i have a proper disgetal camera anyway. Can somebody please tell me how to set up email on my phone. I want to use hotmail. I have an account but when i oen an email it nsays ation not recognised? what the?.

i have been doing extensive research on the mobile... moreI got this mobile, its really wonderful ... its battery is more than perfect i talk alot and its really more than perfect for the hard working and QWERTY keyboard is really comfortable you will get used on it in 48hours ... the mobile size is reasonable ... its browsing is very fast ... i can get connected to my wireless router now from anywhere however my old mobile (nokia N80), i have to sit beside the router ... but its wifi reciever is more than wonderful ... u can get mails on it by using push mail .... its sound is loud ... its a very hard working mobile ... BTW its the best GPS among all nokia phones .... and this mobile can also help you in all business work ......

Vishal, 06 Dec 2008Hi All, i have been doing extensive research on the mobile... morehi vishal...im goin thru da same thing...singled out the p1 and e71...my wife told me she found out that p1 has been discontinued..da e71 is sppsd to b gr8....all rvws abt the phone, battry r good...excpt da camera and video that suck big time...otherwise da phone is worth a buy...im kinda waitin for the 5800 express to come out...not sure how much da price is gonna b...if its 2 expnsv, then its da e71 4 sure

Hi All,
i have been doing extensive research on the mobile (i am planning to buy 1)....still i am unable to decide...i have shortlisted on the E71 or Sony Ericcson p1i......both the mobiles have more or less the same features.....but E71 is my preferred mobile which is on my mind...HTC and Blueberry also made waves in my mind but E71 is the 1 which i am planning to stick with....Is my choice right???? (is my first question).....the other things what i m looking for in the Mobile is QWERTY keypad, 3.2 mp camera, video recording, no slide and no flip mob accepted, good battery standby and talk time hours, ability to swap when on 1 call and put the other on hold.....good memory storage space for ph nos. as well as the messages, e-mail and internet accessibility, connection with the laptop and using the Net et al......hope my wish list (everything) is there in this single device.....coz ultimtely its huge investment and my hard earned money will go into this,,,,keeping this in mind..plz gv ur feedback (esp. guys using this E71) and let me knw wether its the right choice for me to buy this device......will be waiting for ur feedbacks and valuable suggestions....Thank u...

Hi
I m using this phone since 7month’s and have no bad words for this phone amazing speed ton’s of Feature’s Good Screen and 16M Colors great battery timing Office is also amazing
Ear Piece Volume is too good lot of Software’s I have all is working well Phone is perfect in all Fields
But
The Keypad is little bid tiny and little bid Uncomfortable because of its size otherwise the Keypad much soft
Youtube videos playing well
The Camera is not like as have mentioned that’s 3MP Poor Result but bad for time pass
But in final I have no words for telling this This Phone is Amazing

You better use Nokia Intellisync software instead of any other beta versions. I am using it on my E51 successfully.

hey another question for anybody...its about the memory card...i noticed there's a number on one of the corners...in nokia's mem card,its #4...im planning to get a mem card for this unit...buying it at retail stores cost a lot more compared to buying it from amazon...for example, in retail stores, the 4gb can be bought for around $32...while from amazon, the 8gb can be bought for less than $20...these are some of my questions:
1. what's the difference between the numbers located on the mem cards?
2. would it make a difference if its micro sd or micro sdhc?
3. is there a drawback if i buy it over at amazon (like is there a big possibility it wont be compatible or something like that)?

i am a Blackberry user, got my E71 a month ago, very nice phone but went it comes to Email it sucks, if you are looking for pushed emails you will be very disappointed like I am now. You can install a beta version of Nokia Email for pushed emails but it's not effective like a BlackBerry, for example when you open your emails on your desktop, all emails get deleted from you phone, in another word you can never save an email on the device. In conclusion, if you are a havy email user do not buy the Nokia E71.

you are right that hyperpanda is offering this at Dhs1500/- , and it;s a fair price for E71 coz wholesale price for Nokia E71 in dubai is Dhs1410 with 2GB Card.
My dear most of the big outlets in Dubai are bastards keeping a profit rate of more than Dhs 400 on such models. Check carrefour, Plugins and Jumbo and try not to buy anything from these big bastards if you really want to save your hard earned money.
