Been using it since July and it's still as new (and I don't use a pouch or anything like it).

The metal parts on the E70 were just a thick layer of silver paint that peeled off after a while. Anyone notice something similar on the E71?

There is inbuild TIM, Alice Mail, Tin.it, Virgilio email accont. Is it OK. I am a little bit confused as I did't see it in another phone. Because here china & korea made E71 is also avaiable.I got this phone in Nov08.

Does anyone know if this device can be charged up with a mini USB charger. I am waiting for mine and have several chargers from my current Blackberry curve.

can someone help me, because i downloaded videos and images from the internet using WIFI which has an extension name .3gp and .jpg but i can't view the image and the video is not playing. do i need to set up something or what. pls help me thanks...

Can pls explain me how to configure the ... moreit probably way too late to answer your qn TJ but incase u never got around to understanding why yo u couldn't sync ur E71 with Yahoo mail, it's because you needed to enable POP access/mail forwarding in your e-mail account and to do that you need to have a 'paying' Yahoo account. The free account that most of us have doesn't support the feature. U need to use the Yahoo Go app to access ur e-mails

This is a business phone. U can check email on the move & surf for information anywhere. To enjoy the benefits of fast processor & long battery life, it should compliment with an unlimited data plan.
WIFI is although faster, in terms of data transfer, but one is restricted to the frequency range.
I'm using 3G/HSDPA when accessing data. Consider a heavy user for data. The battery can last me decently for 2 full days. My previous N93i battery could only last me 3/4 day.

I just had this nokia e71 for a month and so far i love it. I have had nokia n81 which i still used. This is the 4th time i had QWERTY keyboard. My first one is the blckberry pearl which i dont like because im not really a big fun of QWERTY keyboard. My second one is the tmobile shadow which i sold to my cousin. the 3rd one is the dash. So far I like this Nokia E71 it's really an awesome phone. Now i'm liking the QWERTY keyboard. Its easy to text and emails. Features are really good especially the battery, quadband, the WIFI and pretty much everything. SO far camera is working great but compare to my Nokia N81 which ha 2mp my n81 is better. But the flash is so bright for the E71. This phone is recommended. It's an A+++++++++ wish tmobile get the unit but heard ATT will.
