Richard W, 13 Nov 2008If you type Seven email in your google search you will find... moredont try to download that stupid seven application for the mail. Just tried, and it send 3 sms messages from my phone abroad with some queries probably to the system. the sms messages to abroad isn't so cheap. the application also fails to identify the phone, and later on timouts on logging on to the gmail. waist of time and money that shit app. better use nokia email. it can push email also.

You are wrong or mistaken. White Color E 71 is freely available all over UK now because I got it 3 Days back.

My wife and I have just come back to Nokia phones after having windows PDAs I got the N95 8GB and she got the E71
I have had a good look at E71 and I am impressed. As for web browsing it is not as convenient as a touch screen but after viewing several different websites using the E71 I didn’t feel that it was too hard or limited.
The quality of the build feels solid even though the E71 is super slim it still felt very sturdy. I have big hands and the keys were good to use because they are raised so you can clearly feel each one of them.
I highly recommend the E71 phone. It also has a very user friendly calendar with good interfacing for appointments and it has a built in dictionary that checks your texts as you go.

ENJOY !!

How to download themes from the internet. In the phone, when I bought it, only provided with 3 themes and I will like to download more. But when I download and transfer into my phone, the themes will not opened. It only said 'file corrupt' why? Help. I really like to have more themes other than the 3. and even go to the nokia website there is no themes provided.

YCL, 12 Nov 2008Hi After reading so much good reviews on Nokia E71, really ... moreDon't buy the htc diamond! everybody that i know that had it, including myself, had to sell it.. goes to slow, 3g isn't working as it should and had problems using it abroad. even thugh the layout and the design is worth it, this is a phone that you can't use with a mac, unless you want to use a lot of time installing extra programming. plus, if you want a good touch screen, the iphone is still the best and the easiest!

At the moment I have an Omnia. Great phone/PDA, but personally I think I'm a bit to dependent on the touch screen. That is why I'm investigating of buying an other phone/PDA. I also tried the HTC diamond, but I don't like it at all. That is why I have chosen the Samsung Omnia.

Hi, anyone please tell me what is the function of the small key at the right side, between the volume up and down keys? In my E71 it is not responding. Only with a long press it opens the voice dial feature. But with short press nothing happens! Please help! Tons of Thanks in advance!!

i update my E71 firmware last night,
it is.... 110.07.127
now my phone work more fast and smoothly
but i am surprise when i saw the version of
flash player, it is going- 3.0 to 2.0
after all, it is still able to play youtube video
direct in phone.
i dont know what is this...?

I brought mine just recently and true enough, the camera performance is indeed below average. People should not consider this phone if camera performance matters a lot to them.

i bought this phone about a month ago , its great , made in finland. guys you will need some time to get used to the keys, I love the speed. it has got stuck twice . cant get 3G to work coz its made in finland. My buddy s got the the made by nokia model and the 3G works for the same network. So guys watch out for that , test it before you buy . I still dont know how to get the 3g going , but no big deal , I love the phones features

I have been using the device since about 2.5 months. It met my expectations on almost all fronts. I would like to share the following 2 points
1) Firmware - Smart Search was not working. Nokia care center told me not available in the present firmware. Nokia PC suite did not return any upgraded firmware available. My firmware version is 100.07.76
2) Performance - The phone would freeze once about 2-3 days. Message SCAN on the memory card did not work and had to be cancelled. The memory in USE for messages could not be set to the memory card. Finally, the phone crashed and it erased all my messages. I decided to do a memory format. Most of the applications were erased including Sports Tracker, Games, IM, Yahoo GO, etc. But since then the above reported problems were ALL gone! No more phone freezes, I am able to get a memory SCAN output and the message memory in use is the memory card.
Appreciate useful experiences related to mine above by anyone.
