The E71 is a great phone... been using it for a week. Nicely done Nokia. Installing email's a breeze.
GPS positioning is super fast. Keypads are surprisingly comfortable (there's a spelling check option hidden in the sms menus). I usually find myself typing fast one handedly. Keys work well even with large fingers.
Battery life is awesome. Fits comfortably in your pocket, while in your hands it becomes sexy and eye catching.

Anybody knows where to get free map for Taiwan. Going to Taiwan next week. Wish to have free download version and use in Taiwan.

if only there's only one version of this E71, i could have bought one anywhere...
not from that middle shop on Eaton Centre, their mobile phone prices in that shop are "hold-up" prices...

Have had it for 3 wks and very satsified. Used the GPS during recent film scout was able to keep it running for hours without denting the battery or getting hot, all the while geotagging. How did they do it? Mac sync is livable, Symbian is extremely robust and sophisticated. It's a bloody laptop in disguise. Costomization comes at a steep learning curve, but well worth the hassle. The best screen I've ever used, you can read half of it in direct sunlight while the other half is backlight by LED. I'm obssessed with this toy, it's the coolest!

OK, I Have had my E71 for almost a month now, and while it is an excellent phone business wise, it is slowly falling apart. And it's all related to the memory card. If I a) Switch phone OFF and back ON or b) Remove and re-insert the memory card, the phone either locks up permanently, (requiring battery removal) or requires the memory card to be removed and re-inserted after the 'Applications have quit'. Anyone know what is going on before I spend 30 minutes on the phone to Vodafone to find out what is going on? (Also, I get a lot of missed calls. Is the reception on this phone lacking too?) I so much love this phone, but these issues are hindering the progress of life the Universe and everything...
