I am using this handset.The seventh and eight digits of my imei are 02.
I got mail saying that the 7th & 8th digits being 00 means original factory made and is good quality
"01" means made in finland which is really of great quality as we know.
"02" means made in emirates and it says that it is of bad quality.
My imei s 7th and 8th digits are 02.
I am really worried.Does it means that it is really bad qualit?i mean something like the paint will get off quickly or etc?And is it injurious to health.
I know its difficult to get finland made and its great quality than the china made.But I thought if not finland i will get the made by nokia(china one or india one) which is ok quality.
my mobile also says made by nokia.but the 7th and 8th digits are 02 which means its made in emirates.i didot noticed it earlier and am really very worried and dont feel much satisfied after paying 20k.I changed my n81 for this set.
Where can i get games and applications for this phone potrait mode.

Can i do multimedia stuffs and play games and use fun application in this handset.
The camera in the daylight is ok(average 2mp type)and inside the room the picture is pathetic.even vga cameras have much better picture quality.
How can u people say the picture quality is better than n73 music edition.u cnt even compare them in term of clarity.n73 have carl zeiss lenses whereas this one have ordinary lens.i never saw the auto focus.the picture should come back and front to focus automatically.thats what autofocus means.but in e71 u just press the centre botton and the picture of poor quality gets captured.it doesnot have dedicated camera and basic keys.
One can compromise either sound quality or camera quality.but here i need to sacrifice both.Look and build quality does matter but its not the ultimate factors to make the mobile a perect one.
I am confused.is it worth keeping the phone or i should go for n82\n95 8gb.
pls pls pls give me a solution.i paid so much and am not fully satisfied.

Friends I bought this phone before 3 days.
The fone looks great.But the camera is horrible.no point in having this led flash.Picture quality in the day time is like an average 2mp cam quality.night time even with lights on in the room the picture quality is like vga class or lower than that.I am so worried?i paid 20,000 for the set.Shall i keep it or go for n95 8gb or n82.
The sound is quite low and not impressive both on speaker and even using the ordinary quality earphones provided.
Is it same in all the handsets or its happening in my one specially?
I need to know that can i install games and aplications in this handset and from wgere will i get them.like the one in n73 etc

To unlock the keypad, do the very same thing. To have the keypad lock automatically after a preset delay, press the Home button and select Tools > Settings > General > Security > Phone & Sim card

Updated E71 review. After having had my E71 for over a week now, some things Nokia MUST fix to ensure a great phone is a brilliant phone: a) Even with the flash, photos from the camera are simply unusable due to noise in low light conditions. This is a business phone - and business people socialise and have famlies too. b) When on a call, it is NOT possible to use the numeric keypad to make call centre etc selections if one is in another application or even viewing Notes. So, one cannot enter ones bank account details etc while viewing them on the screen. This is a massive massive flaw that defeats the object of a multi-tasking device. c) Related to b), as the numeric keypad is mixed with the QWERTY keypad, there is not enough space for regular telephone style number/letters to be shown - so if you are trying to enter a phone number or password made from phone keypad letters, you have to refer to another phone keypad. The solution would be for Nokia to have an in call menu option to display a virtual keypad guide on the screen during a call. d) Neither the built in web browser or Opera Mini are as good as that on my SE K800i, which wrapped text, so you did not have to scroll left and right all the time as one has to do on the E71. e) Why is it every time I re-start the phone I have to remove and re-insert the MiniSD card to bypass the encryption? (Again, lovely phone, but some of these flaws are unacceptable as they render the phone useless under some circumstances.)
