i didn't like this phone at the first look but when i saw it in real ... it was looking so... cool .. it has a spark a class about it... when u luk at it in real.. so dont go by the image here.. jst have a luk at it in real... ITS AWSOME

how fast it connects to the satelite, for navigation? from rewiev i understand that the connecting time lasts 5 minutes:(

E71 is too expensive in Dubai. Fono outlets say the price is Dhs 2279(availability in 2-3 days) where as you can get it for Rs 19950(Dhs1695) in India. Thankfully Iam there in a few days.Plus they lauched it in India sometime mid june and its still not available in Dubai.

i was reconsidering HTC diamond/HTC pro before e71 was announced, but now i made up my mind to buy the e71, cos all i need is sms/email features with the comfort of qwerty and a size that is tolerable..

I dont understand why would anyone buy this phone, very small display, too big for what it does, average battery for its size, pathetic CPU and RAM, just Symbian OS.
This phone is too big to be a all round normal phone and spec-less to be a smartphone,
it wont be able to compete super-smartphones like the HTC diamond pro or xperia1
and wonderful all-arounders like N96...

NO,NO NO! The GSM Arena spec says the E71 can record VGA resolution video at 22fps, which is why I just sold my amazing N95 8G, knowing I could rely on the E71 for almost equal quality video. Now I see on the Nokia Europe website that the E71 only records video at QVGA. So, despite my earlier positive initial review, I will not be buying one. I want my device to do it all, less to carry. Very unhappy. May as well get an iPhone or go back to an N95. :-(

I see that the Nokia E71 has HSDPA 3G 850/2100 for Euro/Asia version.
Will this version work on the Canada Fido/Rogers 3G network since it has the 850 band?
