Why will Nokia not make the screen size to be at per with E61i? that is 2.8inches. In my opinion it is vitally neccessary.
          Thanks

I know that screen sizes are measured diagonally. E61i screen is 5.8cm wide horizontally, the E71 is 5.7cm wide. Of course we could use the Samsung i780 concept but loose the aspect ratio and functionality.

The screen size is always measured diagonally so 2,8" is no problem in this case.

And how do you suggest they fit a 2.8 inch screen (5.8cm wide) into a 5.7cm wide phone?
Perhaps the screen should stick out both sides?
I have an E61i and I love it and will keep it, but I would definitely choose GPS, much faster processor, 3 times more RAM, better camera with flash and auto focus, audio jack (albeit 2.5mm), stereo speakers, Bluetooth 2.0, USB port, secondary camera, HSDPA, and smaller size over screen size ALONE.

I currently have an E61i and love it.
There are 2 things i dont like about it, the video calling is only one way and
it is not compatible with stereo bluetooth devices.

Does anyone know wether they have changed this, on the specs it says A2DP, i'm not sure if thate means it is stereo bluetooth

                            thanks

I have used almost all the commnicator, but 9300 was the best communicator i ever used, i hope to use the E71 as well as soon as it will be available, but can any one tell me will it have office preview/viewer (No documents editing only viewing) like as in N95 or it will support documents editing as well? and the steel back cover does leads to consume more battery rapidly? as the circuit touch with steel? Does it support WMA format for sound files?
