sue, 27 Jun 2008There is no comparison bet E61i & E71. The latter is so muc... moreMy current phone is a Nokia E61i. The E71 is better in most aspects, but the fatal (and utterly stupid) decision made by Nokia to use a much smaller display makes me look elsewhere for my next phone. In the 3-3.5G wireless world, video services is of the utmost importance. I expect to use my phone for mobile TV and video conferences, not to mention viewing e-mail attachments (word, excel, powerpoint, ...) A display of 3" or above is essential!
Nokia, wake up!

Screen smaller than keypad area its looks inverted. Why pack 1 old symbian version n end 2008. Nokia creats facelifts but its flash and video quality are its hallmarks.
Basically its E51 processor specs except cam iMp more, nothing much.Surely by chrismas we might see its born, lots of freezes and hangs till two or more updates flashed by 1st Qtr 2009.

I saw E71 today. It is just amazing. Pictures don't do just for this beauty. Stainless steel finish. And soooo slim. And works fast too... I am now in line for one.

There is no comparison bet E61i & E71. The latter is so much better in every aspect. Pls go thru d specification & u will find out. If ppl think differently, they r either illiterate or just come from history. Everything hs been upgraded except that it is smaller. This is due to the response of the complains that E61i is too bulky. Nokia listens, then give you what you asks for. If you r looking for a good phone and email alot, then this is the best phone available in the market. Nokia is the top producer of 'user friendly' phones. No point getting a phone that is troublesome in messaging. For nokia phones, u can hv access to anywhere u want to use. All u hv to do is make shortcuts, just press the button, you are there oredi. if a fren give you a number to contact, & instead of writing down that number, all u hv to do is press an option, then all alphabets will be gone except the number, then u just save it. Fantastic, isn't it? There r many other ways of easy within reach buttons. Saves you lots of time and trouble. Keep it up, Nokia!

Information about Nokia:
Nokia prepares for the competition becoming more sharply and develops its operating system Symbian OS to an open platform.
Nokia buys the remaining shares of the British Symbian-developer company completely for 264 million euros and introduces the software in an endowment.
This should be founded together with competitors like Samsung or LG as well as the mobile suppliers AT&T and Vodafone as Nokia informed on Tuesday.

Aside from losing screen space, keyboard space and not adding a 3.5mm headset jack. This is as close as Nokia has ever gotten to a perfect phone. At least until next year Q2 when the e.. comes out. wish I could tell you
