i am a nokia fan, i bought E72 3 month back, and i ised to have all nokia communicator before, frankly speaking iam disappointed with E72, as smart Phone.
compared to Iphone, BB, its far away from.
i did update to latest firmware, it allwayes hangs on, the watch disappear, the emails stop works,
even browsing the internet on E72 is not friendly as BB or Iphone,
even the specs of E72, in regards to 3G and so, but it doesnt function as per the specs,
the BB specs is lower the E72, but its faster in terms of browsing the internet
I am disappointed,,,,

many people got many bad comments on this mobile....that is just the cause of the place where people buy it from...!!!....anyway...i bought a new E72...well..my opinion about that mobile is just..... AWESOME!!!!
even if i would get a chance to keep another phone on my other pocket again i would prefer this mobile with diff colour..:)

i recently bought the phone and i am experiencing a problem whereby the phones doesn't ring when i call yet the other person picks when i am just about to disconnect.very frastrated

I experienced and am still experiencing the same symptoms on the e72 that I upgraded. I bought another one that I refused to upgrade and its been working fine. Oh, by the way, just yesterday, I sent the upgraded one back to the Nokia Service center for the fifth time for them to resolve the hanging problem!

Dear E72 and Nokia Users
i faced the problem of hanging many times with many phones and the common mistake is the backup which we do before the hard reset the main point is to do the back up as soon as you completed your phone organizing and arrangement like programs, contacts, SMS, and Calendar.
And I prefer to make an itemized backup as in Nokia PC suite, I mean to do the backup for the phonebook and then for the calendar and so on.
Be careful of the user settings because if you restored this backup while you have a problem then you are restoring the problem again.
And I advice everyone to keep a copy of the software you install on the mobile phone on the memory card and also copy the needed tones and photos for the wallpaper on the phone to avoid consuming the phone possessor speed to use this items from the card.

Hi all, i have a question please?
My E72 , got a virus on it, as i found out that it keeps on sending SMS without my permission, and that was after recieveing a photo via Bluetooth from my secondary Nokia phone,
PLease advise me as its a brand new phone :(

Hi all
well i have to say that i was impressed by the spec’s of this handset but once i've got one i noticed that the phone started to be slow after 1 week of use hangs 2 to 3 times a days and the clock on the desktop disappears manytimes after ending a phonecall or sending a text msg and all the time need a hard reset
-my firmware is updated to 031.023 the thing i've done after getting this handset that i changed the memory card and added 8GB nokia one that i had on my 5800 XM after formatting the card
does anyone facing this kind of issues or have any suggestions? plz need your feedback

To Sanjay, your credit deducted when using Ovi maps or Garmin becos of your setting. Just change ur setting to "off line" when using Ovi Map. then Ovi wont connect to gprs or 3G while u use it. but its take a longer time to lock to the satellite. open Ovi Map, go to setting..change there to "offline"...sharing is caring

To User, here is my respond to your problem. i think u should hard reset your E72. To do so, press *#7370#. The phone will restart, I'll be like new. everything is gone. Its like your phone for first time use. Better you make a backup for contacts,notes,videos,messages,etc except setting. try first, i hope it will help.
