i really do not have a lot of major problem(after update the new firmware). i think its ur computer problem or somethg.

i,ve purchased E 72 three days before. i.e on 11th feb. i,m getting a problem of automatic date updatation. the date should get updated at o0.00 everyday but with my phone it is not happenning and i,ve done all the settings and savings but still i,ve to do on daily basis and switch off and then switch on then the date get changed. also i,m not able access the gmail chat. other feachers are excellent. pl.suggest what to do?

In the meanwhile I am attempting to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. But can not connect to the PC. PC Suite does not even recognise the cable connection. I am at my wit's end.
Anyone else with similar issue?

i am torn btw d BB9700 and E72 maself bt i tink i am goin to giv in to the BB(based on the looks)

I thinking of buying this phone currently ihave my 4 year old nokia e50, i dnt know if it's the controls or the phone but its really really laggy like it'll take 3 minutes to just open a message!!
Does e72 do that? cuz if it does i don't wanna waste $550 (which is ALOT!) on a phone, and does it not connect via wifi?

I have configured 3 email accounts with gmail, yahoo and hotmail. I can send and receive emails including attachments without any problem and I am not using any plan. It is definitely slow with email as compared to E71. But hopefully with te firmware update a few of the problems will be solved.

I have used this phone for 2 months. I used to subscribe to ATT media net plan. The emails were spotty at best. I have posted my comments before. The unit's built quality is extremely poor. Firmware is horrible-track pad gets stuck, can not copy all contacts to sim, etc are well documented. One can not receive email unless u subscribe to a PLAN from the carrier. iPhone one does not need to have subscribe to any carrier plan as it connects to the WIFI and email come right in. I have the phone sitting in the box as I went back for emails. DO NOT BUY unless you want to waste your good money for a phone that does not work for email which are essential in today's world. Do the BB units work w/o a plan for email like the iphone? Or better question, are there any other units that pull emails the same way as iphone w/o a plan? May be Rajesh and answer this question.

skdking, 13 Feb 2010I hope you bought your E72. I have a query. I bought E7... morethis is crap, gps works irresecpective of where you are...those folks @ univercell are dumbo...you might want to ask them for a replacement or else contact nokia care..

I have a query. I bought E72 yesterday from Univercell. It is working fine but for non-working GPS. When I contacted Univercell guys they tried to est it right but failed. Finally they threw their hands up saying that it does not work in Chennai because it is not covered by the GPS satellites.
This can not be true. Can anyone from Chennai with E72 pl confirm if their GPS is working or not.

I've recently purchased a Nokia E72, I'm unable to figure out how to put a question mark "?" character with the button available on keypad because I've to use the "Sym" button for this purpose, can anyone please comment on this issue?
