Hello guys this is my first time posting and i would like you all to know this. i have stores in Pakistan for Nokia and i had a shipment of over 300 E72 mobiles. I returned all of them Due to a Software glitch, yes i know people will say i don't have any, that is because it is in your mobile until something triggers that problem. Believe me i had been waiting for this mobile for almost a yr. but Nokia has been a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT in this E series. i had ordered sample for my self and i had huge issues as i put them through mid-level loads of testing and programing and they seem to just fail. You should all boycott the E 72 until they make the new and improved E72 series. And that shipment of 300 were sent all back.

hai i have also the same problom hanging and internet conoction always ask ,, so i dontknow what i do? also i have a problom if i send sms or mms there not availabel delivery report so i dont know the messege delivery or not..,somebody halp me how to make delivery report,?

I have been reading comments on E72, various users have posted various kinds of problem they are facing due to malfuntion (software issue). I noticed that it varies with the region. Some users dont face any problems at all. I am sure Nokia is taking the note of these complaints and soon you will be able to update the firmware and hopefully in 2 updates max all issues with E72 will be solved and it would be a stable device as E71 and would ultimately be a perfect mobile companion for those who dont need serious multimedia features. i just bought E72 and i bet you it is a great phone.
But i have a problem/question. Among the features listed for E72 is the accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. I have searched the folders to activate this function but to no avail. Does anyone know how to activate the auto-rotate function. Yur contributions please. Thanks

hi all///please help me...wen i use more than two or three applications...my mob gets stuck and i have to restart it again...please help me out....do evrione having this probs with ur E72...
and one more thing....how can i update my software with the phone itself ..? instead of using pc...please lemme kno if anibody know...

Ed, 10 Feb 2010Yay~ my phone arrived today!! got a problem i think..when i... morehi...i to had the same problem...u do one thing...go to internet settings and change the setting to always ask...and also i deleted the data package account to avoid it...i dnt kno wether there is some other way...if ani please lemmekno...cheers

Rajesh, 10 Feb 2010Nokia 5800 has a good audio depth...Also good for internet,... moreHi nokia 5800 ,its a touchscreen phone again,its very difficult to write in such phones,i am also waiting 4 se elm though its a simple phone,but ultimetly its E72 for me ive already made half payment in advance as I told them I wnt only Finland made,if not e72 ill have to go 4 anyother nokia ,device E71 or E63 r other options

Would you be able to enlighten me on the problem? I am thinking of getting the E72 primarily for the purpose of using the Mail for Exchange interface so if it doesn't work properly, there is no point for me to get it then. I suppose you do not face the same problem for the E71?

Hi ppl, i am a die hard nokia fan..have used alot of ph but nokia E series is way ahead. I was previously using Nokia E71 and its an awesome piece of technology, however i upgraded to Nokia E72. But to my disappointment, Nokia E71 is much much better than E72. Reason well here are a few
1- Build quality isnt as good as of E71
2- You can see patches of light in between keys esp beneath the home key.
3- Back cover isnt that sturdy & you can feel it moving while using the phone.
4- Optical track pad is a good improvement but it is an responsive as the track ball in BB. Even on highly sensitive setting, isnt impressive.
5- No dedicated camera key
6- Alhough processor is faster, it hangs several times esp while browsing & watching video.
7- Time stamp issue in sms is the biggest worry. most of the messages delivered have wrong time stamps.
Overall, i feel Nokia E71 is still much better than E72. I dont think its worth the upgrade.
