For a business device its more than enough...Its definitely better than E71. But comparing to a few of the best music phones from Nokia I would rate it at 8 out of 10. I am definitely on this site and have been following all comments posted...IN TOUCH

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970This vs the bold 9700 I have tried both for a week and here is what I thought. The build quality of the bold is not as good as the e72. The keyboard is not as seasy to type on either. The screen on the 9700 is a lot nicer as is the optical track pad. However, I like it that the nokia has a D pad and an optical track pad. speaker quality is ok on both. Battery I cannot say I thought both were good. Software wise I think the nokia is better too. Bb was better for email HTML email and messaging in general. Nokia was not good also. Browser on the nokia is better. hope this helps. I would like to add that build quality of E71 is better than E72 but the latter is still a quality device. Good luck.

Hi everyone,
I'm iPhone 3G user and I decided to buy one more phone for my self cuz i need it, and I'm stuck between Nokia N97 & Nokia E72, reason why I choosed this 2 phones is that I really Need a "physical" keyborad cuz iPhone users WILL KNOW that how much HARD is to type with iPhone's virtual keyboard!
Since I already have a touch screen phone I think that goin' for N97 will be kinda not so good bu the form-factor and the built of N97 is perfect!
BUT, form-factor and Built Style of E72 is simply Fabulous!
So I'm REAALY STUCK BETWEEN THIS TWO PHONES!! What i need from N97 & E72 Users is that to give their opinions about their phone or they can make a comparison between E72 & N97!

sip voip 3.x to make calls or you can use niumbuz, fring etc.

can anyone tell me when the new updated software will come cause my phones space bar hangs despite nokia putting a new software..the phone works awesome but this really irritates me..

I have the E71 and E72. E72 definitely an improvement on the E71 in terms of software interface. BUT with all the Mail for Exchange problems it has and I cannot delete calendar entries I have had to send it back for repair/replacement. I now wish I had bought an iPhone which isn't as clever but what it does it does so much better than any phone from friends phones I have seen.
