Hey man! Look it has been top rated phone on gsmarena, get it for yourself and enjoy, the best smartphone by nokia upto date. Using it for one month, upgraded from n82, great improvement in build quality, better software, menu effects, faster processor, day time photos are as good as n82, not much difference, optical d pad, better keyboard, i am happy with my decision.

Why everyone forget about the optical navi key. Does anyone has a problem with the optical pad?? I mean it looks like after several using it the pad is just like finger magnet, and when u swapped to clean it makes scratch even u did it slowly.Dammit! And now the optical pad feels like a sh1t. it wont respons so good when u got finger print magnet and so scratches everytime u wanna clean it up. So tell me bout yours..???

hi guys i have been reading your all posts now i am in a great confusion to buy e72 or not.i have been using e51 and nokia 5800 now planning to buy e72 or e71.guys help me out in this decision making feature wise i really like e72 but posts make me sick and to re consider my decision . Do help

Previously i was using E71, i could set the video to be view in High Quality mode. However this function is missing in E71. The phone hang couple of times which is the weakness of Symbian platform technology. Internet surfing seem not that fast as before. Though i wanted and got the E71 two months back, the problem i facing contribute my disappointment. Hope that Nokia can eventually improve and provide us a different usage experience.

Since upgrading to the latest version of Ovi Maps (with free walk+drive navi' licences), the compass no longer works in Maps. Anyone else have this problem?

Mail on Yahoo standard IS possible.

Hi Guys,
i would just like to say that on E72 you cannot connect your yahoo mail, on E71 it is possible.
Also on E72 Nokia took out the internet radio which is available on E71. The speakers are louder on E71 than on E72. The back cover sits tighter on E71 than on E72, it is especially annoying when you are smsing and hear and feel the movement of the back cover.
Also, the navigation is worthless - you need internet and inquire charges if you are in another country you cannot use unless you have internet and it is slow.
The addition on E72 is its lamp and 5mp camera which you almost don't feel the difference.
I own both phones - if i could go back in time and have the option to buy or not to buy, I would not have bought the phone.

I may have to buy an E72 sooner than I thought. I have just bought an E71. The plan was to buy E72 a couple of months down the road, by which time they would have ironed out the glitches. Then give the E71 to my wife.
Alas I have encountered a problem that really irritates me. It has taken me by surprise.
When one is reading pages on the internet and the setting is on "normal" for the font size, letters appear "more pixelated" than usual. This is clearly seen in letters such as "W" and "A." The slanting lines that comprise the letters, appear like steps.
Furthermore the black colour of the text is faint.
These effects are seen on web pages such as GSM Arena's User Opinions And Reviews.
I have made comparisons with my N82 and N93. The E71's font rendition is unsatisfactory. I made extensive comparisons especially with the N82 with all variables being equal.
The N82's font rendition was far sharper and the black colour was more vivid.
Strangely enough, if one was not surfing the net and just using the fonts that describe the various applications, the E71 equalled the N82.
The problem is isolated to font rendition of text on the internet.
I'm wondering whether I have a defective phone or whether all E71s show this character. I'm hoping the E72 displays vivid fonts on the internet. I surf the web alot and I prefer normal sized fonts.
Incidentally my E71 was made in Korea.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i have this phone and im a nokia user for many many years! is not that difficult. u just need to get use to it! there is no map for all the countries so i deleted ALL the maps since there in no cy map! What is the prob with ur bluetooth?Does it says anything on the mob or the pc? make sure u have available ur mob visibility and if u connect it with the wire select the option of store. Tell me exactly what u need and i will help u if i can!
