Nokiafan, 12 Dec 2009I bought the E72 a week ago and sold it 2 days ago. I had h... morelooking back it seems lots of fones are RAM crippled,,i know in computer world ram is expensive but why stifle a fone cause of it...Most mobiles cost a small fortune or require an expensive long term contract,,so,, surley they deserve it at the expense of a few extra quid..

I bought the E72 a week ago and sold it 2 days ago. I had high hopes for this phone. The dpad feels cheap, it's made of plastic, unlike the E71 which has the metal surroundings. The speakers is much lower than the E71, very disappointed. And the RAM after I close all running apps is at 38mb. What is up with that Nokia??? Anyway, I'm back to my BB 9700. Much more reliable, many shortcuts, sceen res. is a lot better, the best when it comes to emails, it's the ulimiate communication device if that's what you're looking for. I have the N86 so I'm ok with the fact that the 9700 doesn't have radio. If you currently have the E71 and really need to upgrade, wait a couple of months to see Nokia fixes the bugs on the E72. Otherwise consider Blackberry or an Android phone. Nokia needs to get their act together.

The speakerphone is not weak but the E71's is louder. I had E71 before E72 and I can clearly see (hear) that.

is it really true that the speaker of this phone is weak? im using e71 before and the speaker was really a boom, it was loud though i wasn't a stereo type one. but it was really good.
please guys tell me about the speaker of this phone. i think GSMArena got a defected one.

I have never heard, in my Life, anything Made n Finland except Nokia. Since they have started Made n China, with quality to rock bottom, Finland will vanish.
Why not an average high end set valued at 500$ plus be manufactured in Finland.

One big question. Which color hands... moreTopaz Brown it is Made n China, then finish wise terrible, loose effect. Lights are not centered under keys, some glow some not. Processor is 169 than 600Mhz.
Price is same as Zodium Black Made n Finland.
Wait till color and price stabilize.

i search today for e71 and e72 phones and get what i discovered...same price for both phones!!! now i was trying to think what to purchase, and y did e72 cost the same with e71..hmm..

I got the black one made in china overall performance are good unless the light leakage over the menu and home button makes me worried dust and water can go in through the keypad. send it back to the nokia and they will replace it with brand new one but in different color cause they doesn't have black color on their stock and I have to wait for two weeks I'm from Indonesia

how far is this true ? ... guess that i am lucky that black was not released in uae sooner ... otherwise i wudnt have known about the issues ,,,,,,
if you were to grade the phone 1 to 5 ... wat wud you guys give .....?
i am looking for a phone with qwerty keyboard , good camera, radio, document editor etc ... any other phone ?

Hi :) I'm totally clueless when it comes to phones, but I'm interested in this because I'm fed up with my Toshiba G900. I've been hearing that its loudspeaker sucks and that is *very* important to me. Please let me know if that's true...

do not try to judge on every E72 and are you sure black is from finland 100%??? common.... be fair to others oh my wat nonsense to read this

got a huge question, cause im not that techy person.... will all of these "flaws" (optical trackpad not working, freezing, some keys not working etc) can be managed with a new firmware?
