I have a problem with this phone. The time in the messaging center does not correspond with the actual time: for example I will send a message at 6 pm and it will be noted as 1 pm, samething when I receive a message (received at 7pm, shown 2 pm). How do I fix this. The time on the phone is correct tho.

Dont forget its China Made, built quality, for Topaz Brown, mostly avail in asia. The black is made n Finland and for ECC what a discremination.
Do we not pay you hard cash. keys home is tight sometimes dont work but fixes. sound max is too slow speaker being behind. Sofware upadte due, battery max a Day with normal use. My 600$ gone. Nokia you must pay to Us.

Hi All
Facing these problems.I had it for 2 week
1)Space botton does not work have to restart the phone
2)phone restarts by itself
3)The optical key stops working have to restart
Any help people

I have e52 at moment and had some troubles with it but after ffew days all has settled and working fine..I had to use fresh memory card fully formatted in e52 itself and themes and apps i had to bluetooth to fone from comp cause if i just transferred them to memory card fone would crash,,slow to a crawl and mp3 update was only refreshing 10-90 mp3s at a time,,,a reboot sorted out mp3 update/refresh trouble...Hope some of this advice may help e72 users..
I am looking to get e72 and obviously been following comments..There is a big ask and other users have asked also and that is can people put where e72 is made and software version..*#0000# for info ..
We are reading varied reports from all usual sources and the e72 is astounding yet in real peoples hands its sounding quite buggy..Dont know what to think but nokia should make it urgent like satio fiasco..

I bought 3 for my family and let me tell u something, WORST phone ever in quality wise button r loose as hell, light leaks from places, doesnt feel solid or impressive like E71 im returing today still have the recipt and 30 day money back gurantee Sorry Nokia u lost me on this one oh man no Carl Zeiss lens Very sorry nokia

I previously owned the nokia e71 and sold it (what an amazing phone), now I’m back in the market looking for a phone and i can’t decide whether to buy the e71 again or the e72!
A lot of people are complaining about the e72, is it really that bad?

Nokia did a worst built quality on this phone. The bottom piece when touched makes sound like its loose. One of the worst phone i've ever owned as far as built quality and i change phones often.

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and it was worth the long wait. I'm surprised by the firwmare (fairly stable, which is rare for a first version Nokia), lots of features, fast connectivity, decent build quality, good sound quality if you use good headphones and overall excellent for productivity.
GPS could be a little more sensitive however.
Still, this is probably Nokia's best offering and best product, along with the 97 Mini (and maybe the N900 for early adopters).

the problems i am facing with nokia e72 after almost 2 weeks of heavy usage.
1) bluetooth - its giving a lot of headaches while connecting to my dell stereo headset. i have to restart the phone for proper connection. and many people have complained about this.
2) fp2 transitions - the transition effect is painfully slow on third party themes. again many have complained about this.
3) loudspeaker - volume is pathetic.
4) navi key - gets stuck after furious usage and needs a restart but thats happened very few times as for me.
5) charger - dunno y but phone displays battery full message even though its not when the charger is plugged in. not a major issue but still a flaw.
6) ram - very very few ram available for the user. 6 applications running and the phone hangs like helll.
7) video playback - jerky playback noticed. dunno y .
apart from these i got no serious issues. still yet to discover i guess. i got any internet related but the issues i have stated are all correctable with firmware upgrades. so have ur fingers crossed for that.

jobe, 11 Dec 2009had exp'ed the same. What i think may not be right but this... morehey thanks jobe.....m not alon gives me a big relief yeah i guess new firmware will solve it n infact ...initial stages alwaz are so some or the other problem which surely gets fixed later...=)
and hey also let me know if your new contact shortcut key works when u long press the contacts key...i press it short or long the same menu opens up...tried changing the setting aswell..but still d same...=(

Updates for this one is yet to be released. I personally went and asked our nokia service center about having this phone uodated. Howevr they said no updates yet available.
Now back to the real issue... Hmm.. I dont really know why...
But youre not alone..
