Guys, how do you know the exact value of processor speed?? With some untrusted utility?? I have 5800 made in finland and i check up the processor speed with Fexplore and PhoneNetInfo, both stated my phone processor is 192mhz exactly same result with my e72. So this kind of measure is not accurate. It has different reading on Arm processor, technically i dont know why, but dont trust any of those apps that release BEFORE the phone its self :P. The only way to find out ur processor speed is by dismantle the phone, pull up the processor see by your self. My E72 is made in china, my previous phone is 5800xm and n82. My boss have e71. My boss so exited when i brought this phone. He ask me about the processor speed, i dont how explained it. The only way i can do that is trying to operate both device at the same time, so i turn them both off, and turn them back on at same time. E71 boot time far behind E72. E72 has reach the home screen, E71 lagging behind still with white screen and that blue NOKIA logo :P The second test is GarminMobileXT, still my 'made in china' E72 win especially when browsing map, there is no lag like e71.
If you found the phone too slow for you, try to follow this step, disable audio theme and theme effect, after that the phone will be far snappier compare to e71.
Current phone firmware 025.021, its an immature firmware, sometime its lagging, i can feel it and phone get crash 2x this week. If you a die hard symbian lover like me, you will except current fw and be patient and wait for next firmware where many issues or bugs has been fix.
My wishlist for next firmware:
- photo geotagging
- better camera
- more RAM after boot
- configurable sensitivity of optical trackpad per apps

How can you find out your processor speed? My box does not have made in or not even the phone...How can i find out made in? Lastly, i can not copy all my contacts from phone to microSD card...i get an error message "copied 490 not copied 209"? Any suggestions or comments?

Ive waited for e72 for the last 5 minutes... i was about to buy e71 when nokia e72 was anounced..and i cancelled the idea of buying e71.. now i am reading many negative comments about the build quality of e72.. i want a phone with solid build quality, fast internet connectivity with office 2007 editing support with occasional photography... now tell me one thing at this point of time.. should i go for nokia e71 or e72...?

hi, i am trying to set up VOIP for my e72, but i am unable to find the " Internet Telephone" in my menu, it seems not available in the submenu mentioned in the user guide. any one can help?

I have switched from n85 and can tell that the main difference between the two devices is of screen resolution which i guess is poor on e72. As far as speed is concerned its super fast. Mine is topaz brown and made in china. The phone has restarted twice on its own but nothing serious. Keypads are better than e71.

Built quality is same in both phones, White or Black. BUT White one has far better design and look!
Just look at the back covers of both colors! White one has a Unique Design than the Black one that has smal dots on it!
For me White one is far better than Black that's why I'll go with White :)

Hi Friends, while reading some of reviews I have a question to people who have said that Nokia E71 white colour Made in Finland has better built quality than E71 Black colour. To my knowledge Nokia is using same material quality on both Black and White. Can you please clarify why you feel White has a better built. Thanks

All the E72 have 600mhz cpu. check with the latest version of phonetinfo- http://www.patrickfrei.ch/phonetinfo/

kalboflyscot, 27 Nov 2009I didn't say the quality was bad, I'm asking why only a 192... moreDear Sir. there must be some misunderstanding. let me explain. there is a chinese E72 made for the chinese market , even has no 3G and there is the chinese made E72 to be sold as good as everywhere in the world. The same exist in E71 range. Easy to recognise the chinese model as it has also no front camera. but believe me the chinese made E72 to be sold worldwide is exact the same as the Finland made E72. Hope that helps.
