Guys I heard this phone has metal covers on it. Does it get very hot easily when it's being used? I've had this problem with other models.

Looks like Nokia Support pulled the e72 page and the English/Spanish userguide they had there. Yet every language is available for the userguide for the N97 Mini, for example. The release date for e72 is a real joke IMHO. Why can't Nokia get it to market?

Skv, 05 Nov 2009@Spiff0- honestly, go ahead and buy that clunky BB or that ... moreThe BB 8900 is not clunky at all. It's tiny for a BB. I just bought the BB 9700 and I love it. It's very small. Maybe not as thin as the E72, but it's shorter and has a higher screen res. I don't know why Nokia didn't release this phone knowing BB was going to release the 9700. Now the 9700 is practically sold out in Canada and the rest of the countries are getting them within the next 2 weeks. Nokia you guys need to learn from BB. They announced the 9700 in October and it was released on Nov. 4th. in Canada. I love Nokia, but this is ridiculous.

I'm a fan of nokia because most other smart/phones ended up as utter crap by the end of the day for me and I got sick of upgrading my phones in hopes of getting one that could do everything I'd want until I got E71.

As per my e-mail with Nokia Development manager in Dubai, e told me that E72 will be released erlier November 2009. And as per Nokia shop in Dubai Mall, it will be available within 2 weeks

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2009Why on earth is it taking sooooo long for nokia to put this... moreon voda uk forums there are complaints and they want an administrater to give a statement,,people are saying storm2 and n900 are now preorder but e72 is still coming soon october..Someone from voda said you know as much as we do and as far as they know its due on 12 nov but cannot ever gaurantee a fones launch date
Also many satio complaints with badly machined earpiece/speaker problems,,,what is going on ??? I know all stuff is made in China (my n86 is)but it does seem that quality control has seriously gone down..

Yes I bought the E72 fr one of the boothes located at ground floor, Pertama Complex. Take the main entrance fr Jln TAR & go straight to the phone selling booth located at the corner farthest fr the main entrance.
The optical track pad & compass guided GPS are those impressed me the most as well as other new features. I truely speechless at the point I saw it at the booth. At first I cant belive my eyes and thought it was fake phone fr China, but after checking and now after 3 days using it I'm convinced that this is why so many of us r so exited about this fantastic product fr nokia.
As I said yesterday I bought for RM1,500 (AP set but no diff fr Zitron one except for warranty fr Zitron & the AP warranty fr seller - They both will refer any faulty unit to Nokia, so don worry about Ap set. Features r exactly the same). And the stock r very limited, they will only receive one new unit for every RM30,000 nokia phone sales. So don blame me if u cant get it but keep in touch with them or u can patiently wait for the zitron sets which must be out not later then december (I think). For those eagerly waiting for this set, yes keep waiting & don change to other model or brand as I've already have the experience using this briliant set.. marvelouse!! or else u will regret definately.. definately...!!
