I'm too tired of waiting for this phone. I was the E71 user and switched to BlackBerry 8900. Bad decision because, BlackBerry is too much server dependent and I ended up can't do any cool stuff on it. So, my strategy is to upgrade my iPhone 2G to 3.1.2 firmware which should keep me going for a while. When E72 come out (hopefully in Nov or Dec 2009) then i will upgrade. Use E72 for about 6-9 months then the new iPhone should come out already. That's when to make another decision. Of course, I planned to sell all this stuff to make some money back. Better than keeping and collecting dust!

As of 24 Oct, the E72 is still not available in hyderabad... checked mobilestore, univercell, sangeetha... What about other placess in india??

Anonymous, 24 Oct 2009is any one of you knows the disadvantages of e72??Every device has some limitations but this one has a little. no support for 802.11n may be indicated. and maybe the keypad may be inclined as in BBs.

Apparently, dealers will be receiving this phone on October 28th and will go available for end users November 1st week.. so rejoice.. :D

Now, let´s speak seriously. I´m waiting for it as everybody here but if Nokia doesn’t release it must have a good reason. It seem to be a hardware problem, a production problem, a software bug, etc. I prefer to wait a little more to have a good Nokia product rather than a bad one

to all nokia has release n900 and n97 mini but couldnt release the e72 why i dont know it seems nokia cant make an bb phone

hi today i have gone to nokia care center in lebanon and i asked about the nokia E72 they told me that nokia e72 will be available in 1 December 2009 for 100% and it will be made in china since nokia has moved their work station to china because worker got a very low salary. But don't worry it is original like made in Finland. It will be for 545$. I saw a prototype of the nokia E72 its is great.
The nokia e72 took some time to come because they has some problems when they moved the work to china.
