The phone is going to be released in Q3 2009: have a look at a calendar, grab a calculator and do the math.

i still dont get it who ever wrote the thing in below dont understand some of us are using old phones and saved money for this phone and you have the guts to tell as to wait.do me a favour read my lips if wasnt for the customer how buyies nokia product and advertise .nokia would not exist. so do what the customer wants.

so did nokia give a date for the release of its e72 because i heard nokia has a suprize in its announcment this sep probaly something new.

every body want a phone better than nokia or e72 go for samsung or Samsung B7320 OmniaPRO or lg to me this phone are 1 billion times better than nokia because at this moment samsung is build its 1ghz proccessor nokia 600mhz and tell nokia samsung has released 12 mega pixel what have you released nothing e72 delayed because you cant run your own software company what loser and to there fans do you know the difference between a company how is reping you of and company which is not ?when a company delays thing to sell it old product twice the price of the new product and thats what nokia is doing to its people.

this phone is coming sep at the end .i will see sep 1 mobile which are coming to the market if none of the upcoming phones ain sep1 are what i want then sorry nokia you are wasting my time by your phones and e72 . for a number 1 manufacture phone you do worse than samsung at least samsung stick to its word.!!!!! so long nokia or shall i say losers.

Is it me or is it pre mautre to be bashing Nokia for not releasing the E72 when they said they would, when they still have until the end of September. For all of you that claim to know that it will be delayed...SHOW ME, or shut up. I have been to EVERY SITE imaginable to find this info that only a few of you seem to have, or do you WORK for Nokia? In any event, if you are so turned off by Nokia, why even bother to post, just go buy your SE, or I-phone, or whatever it is that you want, I'm sure nokia will be O.K. because for everyone of you that decides to defect, i'm sure there is someone out there that will convert. On a side note. One gentleman posted...if you click on the phone to enlarge it, there is a date in the upper right corener, and that date is "Fri 9/25/09" hmmmm kinda clever Nokia, unless that is not the release date. Even if it doesn't get released that day...so what $#it happens..SO WHAT!

Dudes, feel lucky you're waiting. Perhaps this time they won't release it with alpha or - at best - beta firmware as they did with the E52, which has miserable stability and overall usability. Sure, it will get great with time as most Nokias do, but it's still lame to release it in beta shape.
Perhaps they're tuning things in the 72 - and of course, there is the obvious commercial advantage in delaying the release a bit.
I will wait until the last days of september.. if it is not in stores by then I have already selected a WiMo 6.5 alternative.

I'm tired of waiting. Firsst the E55 failed dates, now the 72. Screw Nokia.
