Dudes, feel lucky you're waiting. Perhaps this time they won't release it with alpha or - at best - beta firmware as they did with the E52, which has miserable stability and overall usability. Sure, it will get great with time as most Nokias do, but it's still lame to release it in beta shape.
Perhaps they're tuning things in the 72 - and of course, there is the obvious commercial advantage in delaying the release a bit.
I will wait until the last days of september.. if it is not in stores by then I have already selected a WiMo 6.5 alternative.

I'm tired of waiting. Firsst the E55 failed dates, now the 72. Screw Nokia.

You are kinda right...
Nokia you suck becaus you cannot stick to your word... or even worse CANT GIVE US A NOTHER RELESE DATE WITCH WOULD BE ACTUALY WALID...
I think the Finnish people youst cant stick to their word.

nokia you lost me as a customer because you couldnt stick to your word .i have been using Se for the past 7 years and know when i wanted to change and go for another brand the first brand was nokia in my mind but because it couldnt deliver e72 on time i said forget them they dont care about us they only want our green thats why nokia is delaying their phone to make as go for another nokia brand just for thier benefit and bussiness.shame on you nokia is that how you treat a first time customer.is that how you do bussiness by treating you customers like nothing then let me tell you something i hope one day nokia will suffer so bad that it will became bankrupt.because thats what you deserve you forgot your cusumer and think only about your money.one day SE or samsung will take your number one place nokia.

today i sent a email to nokia and they were like we dont care about our customer bussiness comes first.and tell to the customer if you dont like it go for another brand because they have alot of customers i say if there is a hacker out there do me a favour hack nokia.com and make sure it pays for the delay of e72.

i wouldnt buy this phone because its not worth to buy since nokia cant fix its software problem i wil go for another phone or brand eg Black berry who can stand for thier words and have the product in time without giving iscuses on the phone delay. nokia you will pay you will pay for this.

Forget abt the e72..my fren...no point talking to them..they will not listen to wat we said...i mean all of us were very stupid over this phone..perhaps we can divert our attention to other brand or model tat in the market.it is very clear tat they r having a big software problem tat caused the delayed..ok..so if they can fix the problem..ask urself would buy the phone ? do u still have confident on the phone? we pay for the phone so wt if the problem arise ? is too dangerous..i rather donate to help the poor instead.

the date says 25-9-09 which is in sept and is to late and not worth to buy by then because newer phone will be releaed in september.

to nokia and to people who work for nokia.tell nokia that if the phone does not get released before first sept i will make sure that people in the middle east and asia especially gulf people to know that you could not keep your word on e72 and thats you as acompany failed to produce a bussiness phone.and also because your going to release the phone why not tell them e72 has bug problems and nokia the owner of sibyan os could not fix the software.what a shame you own a software company and you cant fix the problem on time not just any software a softwarewhich has been arund since 2008.which will make your product not worth to buy.

oh..jesus..we can consider ourself damm lucky as e72 was delayed..if not we will be wasting our hard earn money on tat problematic phone..more nokia new n better model will be launched in 4 days time in the nokia world event on 1 SEPT.. i think we shl stay put n relax to monitor it...BUT REALLY WE CAN FORGET TAT E72..

I'm happy to see N900 coming, so I get what I really need, even if it's a bit more expensive, but it is worth it. From now on I won't even think about E72! Looks like there are others like me who will not care about E72 anymore! Maybe if Nokia could keep up with their promise they already had many people bought E72 and they clearly have missed this opportunity.

ladies n gentlemen...we can forget the e72...trust me n urself .....as N900 is on the way to capture our heart ..n soul...pls go to youtube n chk tat out...simply outclass the rest...i mean how can a person resist it....any 1 holding tat N900 in the coming days...i dare say ,,,NO REGRET...
it will be launched in OCT.. and for e72 ?? we can throw tat away...as there are so much problem which causes all delay..
