yeah i agree with you cfc ....that American version will be released after x'mas .. but middle east as i mention will be at the end of August & europe in september...anyway u don't have to beleive me but if you go back to nokia archive you will notice that american version always being late...shalom :)))

Hi all,
I am a fan of Nokia phones and currently own an E61i. I however feel short changed every time I buy a phone & find that it has no count down timer, no stop watch and a very inept converter. How about Nokia geeks built us a phone with;
* Stop Watch -
* A Count Down Timer - Upto 100 days
* A Multi-Purpose Converter that can be used in the military and other out door events (One that can convert angles and bearings from degrees to mils and back, azimuths, evetion, radians, e.t.c.)
* An Actual GPS
* A Multi Alarm Calender where you can chose when the alarm goes off on Monday, Tuesday, e.t.c.
Come on Nokia, we know you can do it. But now actually do it.

all of u r waiting for e72 to release,all of u r so xcited abt it, latest news jus in,,,it will be released after x'mas....shipment delay due to x factor n the price will be higher by 40%,,ard US$1000.

ya,,is true tat,some of the better phone is coming out..well..like BB Storm..n Samsung already released their new model..n is far better than nokia e72. N more will be launched soon ,,like LG Crystal. the reason y,,nokia is holding bk the e72 ..cos e63 jus released couple of mth ago...not enough time for them to clear it...but it will be oni launch during X'mas..tats for sure.

30.08.2009 is gonna be the dead line for nokia to release nokia e72 . it's officialy . but put in your mind that middle east and espicially uae and kuwait will be the first in the list... ialways read your comments here and laugh cause in mobile market middleeast is the first then asia - europe and finally us countries :)..and i want to add . that all brands of mobile phones officially and legally unlocked here in middle east..:)))no one can force us to sign for contract :))cheers.

if its that late then its not worth to buy because there will be better phones in the market black berry might release new phones and samsung.

Where are you guys getting the info that the phone is being released in December? It was suppose to come out in September or October.

to all.....according to my fren working in the telecom...e72 will not release till 1 or 2 week b4 x'mas...as they r clearing the e63 n e71. they r going to hv a world wide launch together in europe n asia.

HI Guys, i heard Nokia E72 was to release during the 3rd Quarter 2009. in that case... it should have been in market by now...
3rd Quarter: April 1, 2009 – June 30, 2009
Also the price what i heard would be some whr close to $500. Again this is only thru word of mouth nothing concrete to prove my self... just thought of sharing this with u guys... Correct me if i'm wrong..

PLS HELPPPPP ! Can i use Recive PUSH mail on E72 ???... moreI donno what Push means but there is something Nokia brought out called Nokia Messaging which you can get real time emails on it, i have it installed on my E71 and it works brilliantly.
I thought the E71 was top notch but this just raises the bar to another level. I wish there would be a better screen on it and a widget based home screen would also be quite handy since a lot of space on the home screen seems to go to waste. I also dont like the fact that there are only 6 quick link apps available, it should be rotating beyond the 6 apps. I must say the layout for the home screen could be vastly improved but i think thats the same issue people have been raising with the UI of the S60.
