the cam of this phone is gr8...... superb quality.. better than n95.. but it lags xenon flash...

I did a phone comparison for Nokia E72 and E71 on their India site and it say that E72 does have Infrared!

Does anyone know when this E72 is coming to INDIA?
I have to buy a new phone and i m looking forward for E71, price also suits me but still if given a choice i would like to go for E72.

You said what I had in mind from the moment E71 got in the wide world.
If Nokia had E72 with capacitive screen, without the physical qwerty, that will be the end of the "iPhone phenomenon"

Great phone but I already have the e71 so getting this is kinda of a waste. I do like the fact that it has a 5mp camera, and now a 3.5mm headset jack built in, as well as a digital compass, however, almost everything else is nearly identical. They could have at least improved the processor slightly and heightened the screen resolution to be on par with the blackberry bold or the curve 8900. Also, if they had removed the "Nokia....e72" branding at the top of the device and used that extra space for more screen estate that would have also been another impetus for me to upgrade. As of now however, no thanks. Palm pre GSM version it is.
