From my experiences with E71:
Metal surfaces are pretty much scratch-resistant, much more than any plastic phone. After 8 months of usage, there are no signs of wear (though I kept it in supplied sleeve, and bought a pouch recently), it even hit the ground and some objects several times (luckily, the screen survived that as well).
E7x series are amongst the sturdiest phones you will find out there, and metal is, well, metal - it doesn't scratch :)
Now, if this E72 is really as thin as E71 (and nokia is not lying), and 5mpx camera is not has significantly better optics than E71, and if video is 30fps VGA, it sounds as best buy, and possible successor to my E71.
I just hate that they put plastic instead of metal on the bottom part (below the keyboard) - it just looks sucky, and E72's metal cover thus looks more like a frame than the blade, as it is on E71.

E series in nokia phone has gd quality than other phone which looks speed cpu n via internet..E72 is better than E55 n E52..but honestly i'm will choose E52 coz the phone looks simple,but the cpu more bttr than the other design phone like that.. :))

correct me if i'm wrong, i think it already has usb charging capability and a flashlight feature.
if that's the case, having dual sim technology along with all the great features it currently has will be the most important thing i'm looking forward to for an upgrade.. dedicated camera key can be a good addition too =)

it's a great phone..
it would be awesome if future upgrades include:
-dual sim technology
-dedicated camera key
-usb charging
-flashlight (hehehe!)

I'm not into business but i think tis baby is just fine for personal use..
it overlaps with the features offered by n-series model.However, it's camera quality is still doubtful.It doesn't need a Carl Zeiss lens to produce quality images..but hopefully this 5mpx will at least perform better than e71

i got my upgrade for my E71.. was looking for a good upgrade which shd ve an handy qwerty keypad and good specification.. waiting for it

after the release of this phone on 3rd quarter, i'll wait for 6 - 9 months... before changing my nokia e71.
so i am sure that the price is low already! PLUS the software stability.
