Guys, could you please tell me if it's possible to upgrade the E90's GPRS or the Operative system or just the idea of upgrading?

i had the nokia e90, its slow,too big, no touch screen, too heavy, ugly, no spell check, 8 steps for language switching wen typing, headache when trying to sync, problem when saving two contacts with similiar #s ( the 3rd digit is dif. )
i rather take my laptop than the e90 wen am traveling!

am not going to buy it online. i will buy the Middle East version where i live and i think i can live without the TV-Out on the N95 and without 3.5 jack if i have the 4' inch screen and the QWERTY Keyboard.

kc0189, 28 Jul 2008my nokia e90 fell and now on the interior screen there's a ... moreOuch!..i feel sorry for u man..no comment on the lines of the internal screen,just pray that its not anything serious..thats why a didnt buy the e90 for my dad..its a good phone,but when these kind of things happen..well..u know..erm,just try sending it in..but prepared with a pocket full of greens..

yes,this phone can handle microsoft office documents(excel,powerpoint and word).it can edit and create these files out of the box.but if u want it to be able to handle office2007 format,u will have upgrade the Quickoffice to version 5.0(paid upgrade)
FIY:Quickoffice is the 'microsoft office' for symbian-based phones..its the application that handles office files.not only that,the e90 also has built in ZIP manager for extracting and compressing files on board the phone and PDF reader...anything else u wpuld like to know?

powerful phone. the phone almost got everthing that you will need. still,size does matter but, as being part of nokia's communicator series. it never fails to turn heads! awesome. People will say that you have a unique and awesome phone.

my nokia e90 fell and now on the interior screen there's a bunch of horizontal lines blinking. the interior screen can't stay still.

i wanna buy the E90 to replace my N73 but what make me hesitate is no one answer me about this questions and i hope now someone will answer.
1.The compatibility of the applications with (Internal 4' inch ) screen is good or i must use the outer screen for 240x320 resolution applications.(3rd party off coarse).
2.The music quality for songs is good?
3.The video playing is on the whole 4' inch or restricted to the middle of the screen or i have option to hoose between that?
4.How many websites tell u there is Java script error?...my N73 dont prsent the Facebook.
5.Finally...if i buy new one now...i will find the new firmware with Flashlite3 or i will find the 1st firmware and must upgrade?
Answer:
1)well,ur gonna have to give and take when it comes to 3rd party apps.ull have some that works fine and some that dont with the big screen.im sure u have experienced that with the N73 right?
2)the music quality of e90 is not as good as the N81,but its good enough if ur going from an N73.
3)the video player can play in normal mode(middle of the screen) and fullscreen mode.plus u can install smartmovie to play avi files(better grapgics and sound)
4)ur question is a little too general.its not a laptop,so u will face glitches here and there,but do-able.do not expect it to perform internet browsing like a laptop(but it is by the best browser that can be found on mobile phones)
5)if u buy a new one now,it should have the latest firmware.but it all depends on where u buy it(so that people dont cheat u and sell u the E90-1)..i just prefer to go to the nokia shop,take a look at it myself and buy it.but,if ur gonna buy online..then no comment.never bought a phone online before.

anybody know if i can play poker online with E90? anybody tryed? is there any phone it can be used for that! maybe iphone? i want to buy a smart phone who can do that and i have no ideea about which one is the best for surfing and using mobile internet. i'm was thinking to iphone but seems like E90 it's the best. i'd just like to find some opinions!
