Hi i have this phone for a good year. The first release with all the flaws you are talking abaut and i must say nothing is wrong with is.
Small flaws include keyboard to high, so screen gets a little pressed not realy scratch you only notice when screen is black or turned of, but not by using it. Other than that the phone is perfect if fell down abaut 10 times form 1-2 meter very hard. Scratches are hardly noticable.
I must say it is realy a laptop replacement. And recent firmware is even better with youtube directly from browser! Battery hold the whole day long and i am 24/7 connected to push mail every 5 minutes and talk to MSN messger, with oficial Live Messenger client for Nokia. SOmetimes with UMTS/GPRS and i also have WI-FI ruter at home, so i use that when at home.
As far as keyboard goes i type maybe only 25% slower than on PC! realy great i must say.
I am writing right now this post from it on a bus :P
For me it fits nice enough into my pocket. I have Garmin Installed on it and use it in my car, or sometimes google maps when i am walking.
Although i must say i am getting an SE Xperia X1 when it comes out, since it will be the first Windows Mobile phone to have as good hardware as E90, actualy a little samller screen, but toutchscreen, other than taht they are the same.
The real difference is softwere, so WM Operating system. I just must admit that on Symbian some things are realy hard to get to work with, like LAN, with computer, remote desktop, the all work, but on WM you have better programs for that. So if buying now buy this one, if you want to w8 buy Xperia X1

i ve been usin e90 for 3 months and i love it but recently i ve been losing all my phone contacts transferf from sim and phone keeps rebooting like 5 times a day.i ve mail for exchange running and opera mini 4.1.could these softwares be responsible.Pls advice.thanks and God bless.

I really hate china phones, they keep on copying nokia phones models. Its really unfair.

for all dumbs who says that this phone has problems..........this phone is the best simply the best it does not have any problem at all and i am using it at 100% .the business applications are too good the music is so loud and clear through it's 2 stereo speakers,the camera quality is overwhelming it is the same as n73 even better from my side. keep buying this phone it worths it's money ....good job nokia once again

Takes ages to scroll through functions, drop lines and disconnections are a norm. I will definately not recommend this unit.

Hi evrybody. M planin 2 buy E90. But i heard 2 problems bout it. The keys scratch the screen and the voice clarity is not gud. I also read dat these problems have been overcomed in the latest models. Is it true? And last but not the least, is it worth spending 35K.

If you are comfortable using a small keyboard and a small screen to prepare all your excel/word & powerpoint files then yes this is the best that you can have at this point of time.
