Its a very nice phone with a gazzilion and one features, have had it for like 6 months.software wise due to the limitation of installing only signed apps, some instalations can be really hectic, but most apps can be found on www.dotsis.com,hardware excellent keyboard but it scratches the internal screen as you all know.Quick office app is great but for better use upgrade it to version 5 with office 07 support. I love it and im even sending this review from it,i rarely use my computer when doing small things like editing xls work sheets and checking my mail,i even have an autocad viewer

I see in the video the qwerty pad being used for writing a text/email. Can the front number pad be used? Seeing as there are letters on the buttons. I ask this because I asked the same question in a store, and the employee told me no, only the qwerty pad may be used for txt.

what has happened to most of fedup people now their keyboad hav stopped touching screen with permanent scars, listening mic blasts every 40 hrs use camera button has tobe pressed thrice to take pic, flaSH is only light even night mode better, with new firmware 210.34.75 utube added nothing of break through. How can a hardware fault be removed by updates or people have replaced their Mocha coloured sets with black ones having same levelled keypads. On average 700$ a year ago was price. Why has rating raised because new people have bought old versions and will repent later.

i got this beast as an insurance replacement for my 9500. the latter i loved for its utilty. the e90 has more. has others have noted, the battery life blows away most other phones. its functionality is good. the video picture quality is remarkable. i have still got an n80 and that is easily the worst phone i have ever had ... though the 8910i was pretty damn close. thankfully my "wee phone" contract is up now so think i wil go for something sleek without worrying about utility ... however, nokia in that respect are clueless ... unless you think expense alone equals cool and exclusivity .. i'll leave their ate phone to the beckhams! nokia should stick to utility or get a designer ... though to return to the e90, it ooks cool and the build quality is a zillion times better tham the other communicators ...

To the E90 owners/users our there::
Can you successfully install and use the chat-thread program to turn txt messages into chat threads or conversations? (http://www.nokia.com/A4568203)
ALso, are you able to copy-paste things like portions of text messages or stuff from a word document or text pad into a text message? (similar to what a treo can do)

                        Thanks

babak, 07 Jun 2008no its not a good phone i had it and change it with nokia... moreMy experience is the opposite. I changed from N95 to E90. First of all, E90 battery last a whole day whilst N95 last 3 hours. With N95 on a jogging tour you would have sportstracker, radio or music player active. Suddenly you spot something interesting and you wish to shoot a picture. The N95-1 memory will not allow this and the battery drains in no time. So, if you can carry the weight the E90 is a better choice. And there is a keyboard backlight. Press the key with the bulb and your enlighted.

no its not a good phone
i had it and change it with nokia n95
its camera is good but not better than samsung d900i
just i loved its gps receiver because thats too fast

also there is no theme anywhere for this phone
its qwerty keypad has no light and u can not use it at night
so i suggest you not to pay for this phone because n78 and n95 are better

To the 2 posts below, ye size is the problem, but bettery is perfect! It runs for the whole day even if you use it like 10 hours, GPS or whatever. Internal GPS is suported by third party aplications let me see: Garmin -works
Googla Maps-works, Tom Tom also new version now- works. That all i tried there are sure to be more.
Now with new firmware i can watch youtube viedeos directly from my browser! I have like 10 aplications open, real multitask.
And abaut price, you can get it for 300-400EUR a half year used one, or 500EUR new one, that is too expensive, for suh device?? I will be selling it when X1 comes, will you buy it? :P
