The phone is slick and great looking for a business professional. However, I find the form factor of clamshell phones with querty keyboards a bit inconvenient because you have to use both hands to type.
The E61 and E61i on the other hand allow you to hold the phone and type on its querty keyboard with one hand. Besides you get even better S60 platform software applications as a lot of S60 apps don't work well with the E90 screen.

How will this compare to the N95? is a 5mp cam really necessary on a mobile phone? i think the qwerty keyboard more than makes up for it with the flexibility of 2 interfaces

I think this phone should be big and heavy for all the features it has. People who are complaining about the size and weight of E90 should wait few more years to get all the features in a lighter and smaller phone.
I checked Nokia website but I did not find anything mentioned about the fax option , which is very nice to have
From my experience with both Windows Mobile and Symbian Operating Systems, I think Symbian OS is much easier and more stable.
Its good that E90 does not have the touch screen. I hate touch screens !! once u put the phone on your ear to talk without locking the screen , your ear will access a lot of your files/programs and probably check your email before you finish your phone call.

Believe me it has vibration coz all 'E' series is compatible with it. Its not like ordinary Nokia's communicator range. Its something Top Class and as I said before 'E' stands for Executives

to lucie
"Hey - does anybody know why all Nokia communicators come without vibration mode? I love these phones but the missing vibration option really bothers me. Is e90 again without it? Pls somebody let me know. Thanks a lot!"
I mean do you even read the specifications before posting a comment?
